There are rumors going around that Jim Cornette might manage the Rivival. Cornette always gushes over the tag team on his radio show. Do you think it is a possibly that Cornette might sign a contract with WWE after the HoF?

Isn't Cornette on Vince's shit list right now?
He did just shoot a table for three with Bishoff and Hayes (aka the racist variety hour).

If they bring back Corny I will stop watching until he is gone most likely. I refuse to contributing to that racist old shit getting paid.

The man literally said that Jim Smallman, promoter of progress wrestling (a man he had never met) should be hanged and meant it.

So I'm a Cornette fan (but I don't take everything he says as gospel) but he isn't needed in front of a camera anymore...
The WWE needs to promote the "young guns" not fill our screens with old, has-beens...

No more Mick Foley, No more Ric Flair, No more Jim Cornette, No more Shawn Michaels...

Young & New Talent FTW!

Corny is perfect for The Revival. That fulfills the whole gimmick of THE REVIVAL by reviving Cornette as an active manager.

This would be really awesome. I doubt it'll happen though. I had hopes for Cornette to come out with them at the WM weekend show or something but since it didn't happen then, I'd say forget it.

I never watched many of his stuff but the ones I have seen.... were unbearable.

Glad to not have him on TV with that stupid bat and yelling over a megaphone (I know, that was Jimmy Hart, hated him too)

Back in the day, I always liked Jim Cornette. But his character really hasn't developed at all since the 1980's, other than he doesn't carry a tennis racket around anymore.

I mean, look at the managers from the 80's. The only one still around is Paul Heyman. And Paul Heyman is almost nothing at all like Paul E. Dangerously was. Yeah I am sure at the moment this has everything to do with Lesnar, but he has returned several times and had runs without Brock. Cornette makes the same lame jokes with the same delivery has he did when I was a teenager... and damn, do I feel old now...

Don't feel too old. Cornette still carries that bat around. So.. like you're still a teenager. :y2j:

OMG I didn't even see that during the speech. I guess it's habituation. You know, for example, where you smell something that's really nasty for a long time and you stop smelling it because your sensory neurons learn that the smell is always there and therefore not a threat, so they basically stop responding to the smell and thus you think it has gone away? I have become habituated to the tennis racket.
