Chuck Palumbo

[Viva La Luke]

So guys after a succesfull "debut" (As Cole and JBL stated even though he has wrestled in the WWE before) for Chuck Palumbo i was just wondering what is everyones thoughts on him.

I personally liked him even though yeah it is a copy of the Taker gimmick and i perferred Taker with it. But I love how WWE thinks that no one will remember the Gay tag team and him being in the F.B.I, which is probally true for alot of the casual fans.
Back on task i think he is a good solid Mid Carder and i can see him being MVP's opponent in the near future. I also thought he's finisher "Full Throttle" was a good fit.

Thoughts?

he's not bad in the ring, not so bad mic skills and he can get good feuds....if he changes his copy/paste gimmick.

i gotta admit though, this is the best chuck we've seen now, still needs a lil more to enter the US title division.

^^Yeah, It is an exact replica of the 'Taker gimick, it's ok if you copy certain aspects of the gimmick but not completely copy it. If he gets pushed well then he'll get a chance for the US title against MVP but I can't really see him winning the gold, maybe bring Nunzio/Little guido to SD! again to form the FBI but that would mean changing the gimmick again, but i'd rather see them against D n' D than The Major bros.

just bring Santino and little Guido on SD and make him leader of the FBI, the gimmick is kinda ok, he can do good in US division

I reckon Santino should turn heel first in a storyline where every week somebody was assaulted backstage. There were lods of suspects and nobody beleived it was Santino because they all think he's weak but he comes out and admits it was him and said he screwed everyone by acting weak and gets fired and then joins SD! and the FBI without the little weak gimmick.

Chuck is a good wrestler. Whenever a guy goes to japan to wrestle they always come back better and more focused. I think a us title picture is good future for chuck.

^^^ Yeah, then Santino can finally show what he's capable of. But I would rather not see Chuck Palumbo back in the WWE, they don't need a veteran who doesn't have much of a future.

Chuck Paulumbo is an average wrestler, but will recieve chance after chance in WWE because of his size. I have seen a couple of his matches on Heat recently and he looks in good shape. However, I hate how he is basically ripping off Takers old gimmick. That annoys me. Hopefully he delivers during this run, but I doubt it.

Yeah they could shake his entrance up a bit. Mind you he dont stick his arm up in the air so its not exactly the same haha. Id customise it a bit more.

If you read the article about him on WWE.com, they do mention about his past in WCW, his FBI Connections & his Controversial tag team with Billy Gunn, so i don't think they've gotten rid of his history! It's just fans don't seem to remember more than 2 years ago

I think he's a cool guy his enterance is a bit of a undetaker copout and his finisher is basically Abyss' alround he's cool and a good thing for SD!

Palumbo reminds me when they first brought that Turkay to SD! making him look as an immovable object and stuff.

and as every one said, he has a copied gimmick of taker, and this lowers his picture to us and thud he wont be better that Snitsky in feuds and in bookings and will stay as a mid carder as Snitsky is right now.

All I see in him is an average superstar. Nothing really big.

He isnt going to be like a cena. But what he will do is add depth and be a good superstar to the smackdown roster. A small push can do him no harm.
