Firstly I hope Cody gets success out the WWE as he's a talent who for whatever reason maybe the "Billy Gunn" effect just didn't get quite as over as he should have done. I will definitely be keeping an eye on his career and trajectory. Who knows after a main title run away he could be back. Stranger things have happened.

Just because Cody says he wants to work BOLA. Does not mean he will work BOLA. Pure WWE guys rarely get brought directly into PWG. It took Galloway over a year.

I thought he'd perhaps work this year's BOLA simply because it's the closest event that's happening after his "After 8/19" tweet.

But, we'll see. He may be an exception when it comes to pure WWE guys being brought directly into PWG, but he also may not be.

Looking around the northeastwrestling.com site, there seem to be a lot of WWE guys that do side work for them. They're mostly legends (Booker, Foley, Flair, Lawler), but I didn't think WWE let their guys do outside bookings.

They have legends contract. Which is basically a TNA contract. Do any promotion as long as it isn't a major competitor or a TV show.
