I remember him saying something about his short leave being a good thing but he didn't state why or what it would be good for. I am not sure when he is due back, or if he is scheduled somewhere yet. How do you think he will make a return?

This is the reason Cena's out for another month.
I guess WWE will just have him back on RAW and he'll start a feud with ADR over the US title.

If they plan on doing Reigns vs Cena at Wrestlemania, then he could very well return and win his third Royal Rumble match in January. You know damn well they'd love to give Cena every possible record and accolade under the sun, including matching or surpassing Austin's three Rumble win record. Plus, this match would serve to "pass the torch" to Reigns officially (even though I don't see Reigns becoming the new long-term face of the company under any scenario in his current character), although that type of scenario works a little better if it's Cena actually dropping the title rather than just failing to regain it imo.
I'm hoping they book Cena vs Undertaker for Wrestlemania though, and that also happens to be the rumor that's making the rounds at the moment. Don't really care to see him begin a rivalry with ADR over the US Title, and I don't think he'll be in the US Championship picture by Wrestlemania anyway. It's WM32, the one they want to be the biggest and most iconic Wrestlemania of all time, a star the caliber of Cena deserves to have a huge match after competing against rookies in the last two.

If Cena returns and wins the Royal Rumble that will be some ultimate bull shit. But I wouldn't be surprised.

I think he is going to come back and help put Reigns over. They will have someone else go after ADR. They just signed that other masked wrestler so they will likely push him fast like they did with Sin Cara and he will flop after one or two successful feuds.

I don't think they will give him the chance to thrive in NXT... They want to push him to have another masked wrestler to appeal to the Mexicans. He'll be wanting to hop the boarder back home soon enough.
