It worked out well for Randy Couture. Granted, Punk doesn't have the same background as Couture, but still, I can't guarantee if he'll fall on his ass during his time in UFC.

Well, they all eventually come back, don't they? (Well, except for Randy Savage, but that's because they refused to let him.) Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, Sable, and especially Bret Hart all left on bad terms and yet they all returned eventually.

I can't see it happening anytime soon, but I can't help but think Punk will eventually want to finish up his pro wrestling career in a proper manner. And if we're talking Vince, he'd take Punk back in a heartbeat. HHH? Debatable. He seems petty in regards to personal grudges judging from what certain folks in his circle have said about him before.

Vince is a people whore, he'll take anyone back... Well, not Randy but ya know... Stephanie as to do with that.

Coming back to wrestler, I don't see it. Maybe as a manager. He would be good at that.

It's more that Vince is a shrewd businessman who will always be willing to do business with someone again as long as there's money to be made from it. I've never completely bought the story that Vince hated Savage on account of him banging Stephanie when she was only 14, but that's another topic.

And no way does Punk only bother to return as a manager lol. If he ever gets the wrestling itch again, it'll be to step into the ring and perform, not just merely coach another wrestler on-screen, and who knows what the roster will look like if or when (I personally say when) that ever happens.

I guess so but I still can't see him going back at all. He is clearly very stubborn. Maybe when he gets inducted.

He is stubborn yes. But at this rate, unless punks returns and shows respect, he's not getting into the HOF

Also money talks. If punk needs more $ for whatever reason and ufc doesn't work, which it won't, he will return at some point I'm sure on a part time deal. He loves wrestling just stared to hated it because of how WWE handles it.

I hope he eventually captures the UFC Championship. I know there's a large amount of odds set against him ever doing that, but stranger things have happened in life. As obnoxious as Punk can be in real life, I love seeing people defy the odds and silence the critics, and I would especially love seeing him show a bunch of control freaks like WWE that he can be very successful without them.
You are out of your fucking mind. Play the lottery if you think he will win a belt, let alone a match vs a competitor who actually can be called the "underdog" in his fight. He is there to draw shit fans who still cheer his name in the WWE arena.

CM punk can try, but no way in fuck does he beat people who have been doing it for 10, 15, 20 years compared to his time.

Honestly, I'm so fucking glad to see Heyman finally saying what is real/what he thinks about Punks run in UFC. Is he going to fight in the smaller promotions before? Or is he going to spar until the day his match comes along. He goes 0-3 IMO, first is his chance to win (he probably is better off if he loses, honestly) and the next two are against fading big names who draw. We won't see him in the WWE again unless he comes back for a paycheck and a job, because if he fails in UFC (which is VERY likely) he will never get another shot back at WWE to be where he thinks he belongs.

I can't guarantee that scratch off ticket I bought for 2$ tonight won't win me a few thousand either.

Did I not say myself that the odds were heavily dead set against him succeeding? *Goes Back And Reads Post* Oh wait, I did. I just realize that almost anything is possible and life is chalk full of largely improbable things that no one thought would happen but did anyway. At the very least, I commend Punk for his willingness to at least step into the octagon with 'real fighters' and try his hand at it, especially at his age.

Yeah honestly I saw that part and was just like "did he really just honestly type that shit?" and went for it. I should have finished it, but that is still an insane statement.

I can't see him coming back.. I mean yes, he is a HUGE hypocrite but the only thing that would bring him back is the need for money and I don't think he will be needing it anytime soon, if ever.

I dunno. If Bret Hart can come back to the WWE after the Montreal Screwjob, I would say that Punk coming back is more probable although it will likely be a long time before it ever happens.

Bret is an entirely different kind of person. It isn't about being screwed over but manning up. I can't see Punk being a man about this. lol
