So what's coming up for these guys?
Given that they are back full time, I think they'll get multiple tag title runs again, which is fine by me.
I am wondering if they are heels or faces though.. they return to take out The New Day who are supposedly "heels", but crowd reaction says otherwise. What direction do WWE take with them?
I'm hoping for a heel run knowing how good Bubba can work a heel gimmick, just drop the stuttering gimmick pls. :jericho:

Thoughts?

The Dudley Boyz are faces in my book, but even if they turned, I would have no complaints.

Yes, The New Day are heels and they got a great reaction in Brooklyn, but it was in front of the smarkiest crowd of the Summer.

I think they'll win the tag titles from The New Day at the TLC PPV in a TLC match. It would be appropriate, given they thrive in that environment.

I approve this idea. :bodallas:

If they're going to gain the titles from New Day at some point, then they'll end up being transitional champions like The New Age Outlaws were recently. And them turning heel to be pitted against a debuting team like Enzo and Cass would be pretty entertaining in my book.

The dudleys are just great idea no matter how you book them at this point. Obviously a face run with the belts and fighting new day would be fun for a while, but in any case, they're great.

Face, heel, as long as they keep head butting crotches and putting guys through tables it's all good IMO.

They're faces, and I'm pretty sure that's how the crowd reacted to it. Anyway, they could do a very good long term feud (until TLC, maybe?) and blow it off with the Dudleyz winning the belts in TLC, Tables or whatever.

They're faces in the same way the Undertaker or NAO have been faces. They're hugely over due to nostalgia (and the fact they can still work a very solid match, as evidenced by their return match on Smackdown).

The reason I say that is because it's not going to matter what they do or how they act, there are going to be people who are going to cheer for them. For example, look at the Undertaker-Lesnar match. It's pretty obvious that the storyline calls for the Undertaker to be the heel, as he gained an unfair advantage after the bell was rung and used it to choke Lesnar out. By action, he's a heel, but there were still people cheering for him after the match was over. The Dudleys have that same advantage from the audience.
