I just read what happened... he looked sympathetic twice and lost the IC Title. What bigger push could you ask for? :yay:

Push? Not sure that's the right word. Ever since SS, they've been de-pushing him.

I genuinely can't stand Lawler.

But to each his own, though.

I'm not saying I am a fan of Lawler's or anything, through I just felt mostly that the three of them together (JBL, Cole and Booker) just didn't mesh well; and JBL and Cole's badness seemed more prominent to me last night.

Yeah, none of 'em are super good commentators anyway.

I'd like Christian or Edge on the commentary team.. Booker T was dreadful last night and honestly right about as bad as Lawler is usually.

JBL and Cole were good together back in the day on Smackdown, but they are just outright atrocious now; time to trash the entire eam honestly.

Yeah, we should all bash Vince for that, really.

True, if I had my way I'd find a way to get Vince fired and get Triple H and whoever writes in NXT in charge of RAW and Smackdown; seeing as they know how to properly write and make a show from top the bottom and from main eventer to diva better then anyone on the main roster at all.

Agreed.
HHH's taking over when Vince dies or if Vince steps aside on his own. There's really no other way.

Well considering how dedicated Vince is to his work I doubt he will ever step down willingly, so it likely won't be until Vince dies or is just too far gone to be heallthy enough to perform his duties.

*What Happened After Last Night's WWE RAW With John Cena, Seth Rollins And Big Show*

Mary sent word that after last night's WWE RAW in Corpus Christi ended, Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan left the ring while Cena stood there for a few minutes with a sad look on his face, covered in confetti.

Cena then said he wasn't leaving without a fight and called Seth Rollins to the ring. Rollins came out but ended up leaving until a "you sold out" chant brought him back. Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble interfered in the match but Big Show came out for the finish. Rollins accidentally hit Big Show with the Money In the Bank briefcase, allowing Cena to take advantage and get the win with an Attitude Adjustment.

I only gave the show a 4/10. For a return by the Authority, this was a disappointing show. I hate segments where the roster is waiting in the ring for something and I really am tired of hearing John Cena talk about anything. Wah wah wah wah wah.

I think Steph and HHH were good in the opening segment and I was happy as hell to hear that Rollins would be added into the title match. Best announcement of the show.

Positives:

Ziggler and Barrett match was decent. I loved when Kane turned it to a two out of three falls match.

I'm a Ziggler fan, but I think Barrett can benefit more from the IC title than Ziggler can at the moment. It's good to have the belt on Barrett.

Bray Wyatt vs Dean Ambrose in an ambulance match. It was a good match, but making Ambrose 1 for 4 in matches with Wyatt doesn't make sense to me. Also, with all of their stipulation matches, I am ready for this feud to be over.

Rollins and Kane vs Ryback. I debated whether to make this a positive or negative. At least in comparison to the other matches on the card it was decent.

Ending Segment: Just the look on Cena's face. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHHa

Negatives:

John Cena

The Ascension match was just terrible. I think Ryback was the last guy who fought local jobbers. It made me feel I was back in the late 1980's watching WWF Superstars where all the wrestlers fought only jobbers. Painful and I can't see the Ascension doing anything good if they are saddled with such a stupid gimmick of being a Demolition and Road Warriors ripoff.

Rusev and Lana promo. There was no point to this stupidity. Seen it 100 times already. Move on.

Roman Reigns vs Big Show. Painfully boring and crappy match. If they are going to push Reigns into the main event of Wrestlemania, this is not the way to do it.

Nikki Bella vs Natalya. I like women's wrestling. Please, WWE, give me good women's wrestling.

Erick Rowan vs Luke Harper. Okay, now we know this isn't a wrestling show, it's an Authority revenge spectacle. If you want to get revenge, due it and continue to put on good matches. The Authority doesn't have to stack the deck in order to win. They have good wrestlers on their side. This was embarrassing.

Mixed tag match. I am not even going into how bad this was.

Adamn Rose vs Big E. Gag me.

Ending Segment. A 20 minute segment to fire three guys was pointless. Also, for two Raws in a row, they signed off with a silent audience. Not a good idea. I'm a heel orientated fan a lot of the time, but this was a bad way to end the show.

I heard this show was an absolute disaster, don't really know what happened, but have to rant about one thing.

Okay, you have the Ascension. As an act, I'm not a fan, but it doesn't matter what I think. There are Ascension fans out there - hell, there's plenty on here. And there's nothing wrong with that.

But these guys are on the Official WWE Main Roster payroll for TWO FUCKING WEEKS and they are ALREADY going out of their way to bury the shit out of these guys. Why? What if... lets say, you were a company that had any fucking clue what they were doing and not WCW 2.0, and actually tried to see what you had in stars? What if the crowd really did take to them to some extent? Wouldn't that be a GOOD thing? A much better thing than instead of cutting their throats two weeks in? These guys do have the chance to make youuuuuur show better, WWE, so why would you sabotage their careers like this and therefore YOUR OWN SHOW which is getting it's ass kicked in the ratings, is getting turned off in droves, and is trying to sell Network subscriptions on the back of a roster that's already 90% dead in the water since you keep doing stupid counterproductive bullshit like this?

I can just imagine being backstage in the WWE locker room while shit like this is going on. What would it like to be a Cesaro, who was loving life for years with the Kings of Wrestling, watching himself look like a total ass while the fans resent the company for doing so? What about Adam Rose, who worked hard for many, many years to live out his dream, just to feud with a man in a bunny suit? What about the countless other NXT talents whose careers have been sabotaged to feud this stupid backstage feud between Kevin Dunn and Triple H? No wonder backstage morale is described as "depressing".

"Oh, but they showed up out of shape" Cool story. Does that deserve you destroying them the way you did on their second week? No, assholes! Wanna stall their momentum for that, fine. Go right ahead. "Yeah, but their promo earlier and the squash sucked anyway" Mmmmhmmm, and you're pushing Roman Reigns. "Well, we don't think the Ascension will get over"... come on guys, we got behind Fandango. YOU HAVE NO EXCUSES. STOP DOING THIS SHIT.

Vince McMahon is notorious for for being bull headed about what the fans should like. This is why the WWF was going down the toilet around the beginning of the Monday Night War. Back then, he felt that he could push the product he wanted and since he had no serious competitor, the fans would have to learn to like it. It wasn't until he completely had his back to the wall that he changed. It was change or die (I refuse to say "adapt or perish." Oh shit I just said it. Should I delete it or just move on....hmmm) and he almost changed too late.

Vince pretty much believes he is in the same place he was before Monday Nitro aired. For the most part, he's right for the moment. I honestly thought TNA stood a good chance of being a competitor before they brought in Hogan and Bischoff and destroyed the product in order to attempt to create a WCW clone. I actually think if GFW gets established and they have a steady influx of foreign talent from their partners coming in that they might be viable, but that is years and years off.

But yeah, Vince isn't going to look at the product and go "How can I change this so the fans will like it?" He will look at it and think, "How can I force them to like what I like?" So as long as he likes what is happening to the Ascension right now, they're not really going to change into anything better.
