WWE Live Event Results: Barrett vs Cena, Triple Threat, Tyler Breeze & More

- Thanks to Darius Garcia for the followingWWE live event results from Sunday night's show in Hidalgo, Texas:

* Eden was the ring announcer.

* Dolph Ziggler retained the Intercontinental Championship over Luke Harper. Ziggler got a very big reaction and won an awesome back & forth match with two stiff superkicks and a Zig Zag.

* Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingstondefeated Curtis Axel, Goldust and Stardust. The Stardust character is fascinating in person and this was a really entertaining match. New Day was dressed in red gear and did a sweet double team move.

* They aired a Connor The Crusher video.

* Nikki Bella retained the Divas Championship over Paige and Natalya in a Triple Threat. This was better than Diva matches on TV each week. Paige looked especially good. Nikki won with the Rack Attack on Natalya.

* Dean Ambrose defeated Bray Wyatt in a really good brawl of a match. Ambrose's pop was bigger than Ziggler's. Ambrose won out of nowhere and Wyatt beat him with a kendo stick after the match.

* R-Truth went over Fandango.

* Los Matadores over Titus O'Neil and Tyler Breeze, who had Hornswoggle with them. Breeze looked impressive.

* Bad News Barrett came out and he's got some bad news... Seth Rollinswon't be able to make it tonight. Barrett will be replacing Rollins in the main event.

* John Cena defeated Bad News Barrett in a Street Fight. This was a good match and I think Barrett facing Cena instead of Rollins was a good change. Cena won with a super Attitude Adjustment through the table.

Thought this would be worth sharing.

- For those of you who were concerned, BNB is still a heel. All's good.

- They've been going with DZ/Harper for quite a while, might as well end up being a match at the Rumble.

- Also, some great news! Tyler Breeze was there. So, there's a posibility of seeing him and Neville in the Rumble match, as well as these two debuting sooner than anyone else from the NXT roster.
But, we'll see.

I'm not a huge fan of Breeze's but he's a good talent and I would hate to see him thrown into a comedy role with Hornswoggle and Los Matabores if and when he gets the call up.

This was for live events only, nothing's official yet. But, I agree, there's no need for him to be thrown into a comedy role with some jabronis.
So, I'd like to stay positive and think he won't be ruined once he gets called up to the main roster.

True, nothing's official yet, but Live Events are generally where they test things out for possible eventual use on TV; so I am going to remain cautious and hope for the best regarding Breeze. And hope that he isn't ruined when he gets called up.

However considering WWE's track record (especially with NXT call ups) admittedly my hopes are nothing like this :happy: and are more like this :meh: right now.
