I didn't watch it last night, but I read the results earlier and it's just sad. Any momentum that they gain after a PPV, even if it's only a little, is failed to be used correctly. The Authority loses power and instead of trying to capitalize they're going to be bringing in random GMs every week? No thanks.

I agree. They took several backsteps on RAW.

I honestly don't believe it's the end of the Authority. The way Vince was acting, I assume that the Authority will take on a sympathetic character compared to Vince's brash punishing character. Knowing the trusting dumbass character of John Cena, they will convince him to reinstate them because Vince in charge will be worse. Then once super idiot does it, they'll reveal it being a ruse.

Just awful.

The opening segment was far too long. Most of the matches held nothing of any interest to me- especially the main event.

The issue is DB is/was one of the most gifted wrestlers in the world. He's never been a great talker. I don't think it was a good idea to bring him back just for some YES chants. It reeks of desperation....

DB was WHC before the yes thing started. Hid talent alone got him to main event status. Ignoring that is ridiculous imo
I disagree, his promo work as a heel is very effective.

Ok, I just started watching this and I had to pop in to say - what a dick move by Daniel Bryan on RAW. You can't be around for months due to a real injury but you show up to rub it in the Authority's face when they are at their lowest? Didin't seem to hurt to me there. And wheres the footage of HHH and Stephanie at the hospital doing a NO chant during his surgery then hmmmm?

And if I was in HHH's shoes - the second he got in my WIFE's face like that with the YES chant - BAM! Fuck that shit. Get in my face all you want, but not my wife douche. I know it's all scripted and fake but that came off rude as hell to me. Just went too far. Not unlike the "I wish you died in the womb!" line used not too far back. What the hell are the show's writers thinking half the time?
you trolling or srs?

Who is ignoring his talent? I shouldn't have to qualify my statements to bash his lame ass WWE-character. Obviously he is talented in-ring, busted his ass to get where he is, ect ect. Does that really need stated?

You sound angry, like you aren't yourself today. Just an observation.

Michael Cole may have requested the anonymous RAW GM. His heel/tweener role came to an abrupt end when Lawler's ticker stopped.
I can see Cole planting seeds for a heel turn and, more or less, beginning to show support for Vince or The Authority (depending upon whom plays the heel role, that is)

No I man I was being legit. I mean I get the Daniel Bryan gloating thing. They did him wrong but damn. He had to be within breath smelling distance to do it? And to keep doing it up the ramp as they tried to leave. That's a heel move in my book. Not a Daniel Bryan thing. I didn't like it at all.

I was little overly aggravated at work today

As a southern american caucasian male human being, I'm practically the only target demographic for this show it seems. :lol1:

Nonetheless: 1/10.

That's the "I can't 0/10 a show with Sandow on it" rating. Plus at least that segment was good.

Everything else was complete and utter shit, for the first time I actually felt bad watching this stuff thanks to that Cable Guy bullshit, and the optimism I posted yesterday? Yeah, that's gone now. At least I got to watch an incredible football game instead of giving ratings to this crap. See y'all back in the NFL thread.

I am a much bigger Triple H fan than a Daniel Bryan fan, but I fail to understand how it was either a dick move or rude. If we are discussing it kayfabe like, it was pretty minor compared to the numerous things Triple H and Steph did to Daniel Bryan. Triple H attacking him and setting the path for Orton to win the belt, making Scott Armstrong pretend he was in league with Daniel Bryan so they could strip him of the belt on his second win, verbally attacking him and his ability over and over again. Attacking him during the Wrestlemania main event.

When Daniel Bryan was at his lowest, after being stripped of the belt, they mocked his ability to heal correctly, stating they were not surprised because you couldn't expect A+ recovery from a B+ player. Comparing all of that to about two minutes of yes chants in their face, get real. You reap what you sow.

As far as HHH punching him for being in Steph's face, I dunno. I think Steph can be 1000 times scarier than HHH.

And taking a step back, it's not like the gloating will get anywhere. I doubt HHH and Steph will down for long and they'll find a way to pay him back for it. They both know when to pick their battles and they will come up with some sort of retribution eventually. It's what they do.
I think its a personal space issue with me. As I said, I just didn't like that segment and DB is a little < in my eyes for it

I get it. I've been there. Too close is too close and too much is too much.
We're all people and sympathetic enough, but there is a line that shouldn't be crossed.
If you're a adult, social programming ought to tell you what is out of bounds and crossing the line.

I'm not sure Bryan suggested the idea, but he definitely agreed to it. I don't book nor do I watch RAW much these days.
If I did book RAW, HHH would have been allowed to kick him in the n*ts and smile about it. Fair is fair, no?

That's what didn't make sense. For what reason does HHH have to not take a shot at DB in that moment?

Why'd anyone get so worked up about something that's scripted? If it was a real life situation, I'd completely get it and wouldn't approve of it.

I bet you weren't this worked up when Orton RKO'd Stephanie, then some time later DDT'd her from the second rope, tied HHH to a turnbuckle and then kissed her in front of him.

Cheer up, this isn't Blabbermouth.

See, no offense, but I hate that point of view. Every other god damn show I watch on TV is scripted. I still react to those. Somehow my reaction to WWE should be different because........I don't even know why - thats why I don't get it. I hate that excuse when it comes to wrestling. It makes absolutely no sense to me.

Post Edit: Just except that WWE is the same as any other TV show and not a fake sport anymore. Whose it real to now huh?

That's fair. You have your own point of view, I have mine and that's it.

To each his own, man.

Actually you make a good point that I shouldn't have overlooked. I am like that too. Even today, my family and I went to the store and it was so crowded I got pretty paranoid and had to leave. People getting too close to me bugs the hell out of me so I completely understand what you mean... I was thinking more about the gloating than the personal space, but the personal space definitely is an issue.
