Well, actually it isn't about liking it rather I just don't believe he has what it takes.
He's an introvert. Bret Hart was an introvert too but he dug deep into his boring personality and found the tiniest modicum of charisma he had.
Lex Luger and Batista had the look and very little else. Luger failed. Batista developed a better work rate but was hurt a lot and never surpassed Cena.
Nash and Warrior are actually extroverts. Reigns seems fresh but once his promos get weak and old you'll be begging for a heel turn.

Introverts usually struggle being around fans every single day. The 'face' will have obligatory interviews. signings and 'meet and greets'. He's too low key for all that.
