That would have been pretty anti-climatic.
and the Brock shit wasn't? He added nothing to the streak after HBK. two shitty builds/matches with HHH, one with punk and then Brock. all of the feuds were shit and the matches underwhelming at best.

Nah, unless he's going to tag with Kane or fight Sting. But yeah, I wanted for Punk to end the streak but that didn't happen so I don't really want for him to come back and possibly have a bad match which would only be bad for him. Just end it now, he's 21-1 at WrestleMania which is just unBOlievable.

I loved the consecutive matches with HHH at 27 & 28 (and the build for their second [technically third] match was the best thing about the buildup to WM28.) If Undertaker had retired before WMXXX, then the "End Of An Era" match with Triple H would have been the perfect place to ride off into the sunset. The sight of Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels walking off in arms together would have been a perfect final image, especially with him finally hitting 20-0 with that victory.

There's no point in him coming back for another match. He's 21-1. Only one way to sum up his streak and career. Done

He should do a match vs Bray and job. He is best used to put over young talent now.

Neither of the recent Taker matches were negatively impacted by this opponent.... except WM 30 (well, not actually)
Taker was taking (nice pun) a risk wrestling Brock and he paid for it. The match blew.
Nobody was shocked when they heard Taker was concussed. I could concuss Taker (I'm half his size)
If this were Jericho (and I really wanted a Jericho match in '09), we wouldn't be having this particular conversation.

Although Y2J wouldn't break it (this tidbit is irrelevant), the main point is how torn apart the man looks out there.

Ultimately, its more about his shape than his actual loss. Or is it? Does the loss impact your thoughts, or is it the shape he's in.

A lot of people worried that Taker was too brittle to wrestle the stiff Lesnar at this point in his career. We found out why.

He should return to retire, no wrasslin involved unless he manages someone, but not even that.

Even though it didn't feel like the right way for him to go and as much as I loved him, I don't think the Undertaker should come back. I mean, to do exactly what? What's left to be done?

Quite frankly, I still don't understand why they had to end the streak to begin with but I don't intend on going back to that subject since what's done is done already and I don't wish to go off topic here.
