I agree but the only good from this match is that it's different. I can't remember where a main event title match is on the line in the same night at mania. It'll be fun to watch even though you know the result.

I agree this is all now a side story. I think the main story for WrestleMania now is Taker and Lesnar
I disagree. Although, yes, Taker and Brock is big, I feel that this will make Mania interesting. I mean we know DB will when he fights Triple, just as we know Taker will beat Brock, but it will have that suspenseful feel all night, especially when the Triple Threat match happens.
I think at least they deserve props for doing something that few thought possible.. I bet most of the people in this forum have been calling every move and every match before it happens. Last night was somewhat of a surprise for most people (pleasant or otherwise). I think that's worthy of something.. No?

Had a feel WWE was going this route though. They have been pretty good with storylines imo. They will somehow tie HBK into the mix
We all (well, most of us) expected Daniel Bryan to win the Rumble. We knew in the back of our minds who would really win in really boring fashion, but we still had hope WWE's most beloved babyface would crawl out at #30 and save us from Batista and the WWE's corporate mentality.
Then there was the Chamber, which, while we didn't expect Daniel Bryan to win, seeing Batista vs Orton essentially set in stone didn't really sit well in our stomach. It looks like after this entire chase, Daniel Bryan was stuck in the match with Triple H and left out of the main event, which wouldn't have been that bad of a thing had the ME not sucked hard.
So there was still hope among the Bryan fans and the fan community... maybe beating Triple H would give Bryan an "in" to the main event, they say... maybe WM can still end with 80,000 people chanting "YES!" they say... but I've heard enough. We've all had hope for them putting Bryan in the ME, and it just caused us to feel let down by the last 2 PPV's. No reason to expect it this time, right? When was the last time WWE followed through on a storyline? And hey... facing Triple H is still a good spot for the guy, right? So guess it's time for the marks to shush and for reality to set in...
...OR MAYBE NOT!

It's more crap from the WWE...now..if they had a Royal Rumble in a steel cage with a machette...**then** I'd really watch<g>
Looking forward to the HHH/DB match. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a MOTY candidate. I have no doubt that HHH puts Bryan over to set up the triple threat and I fully expect interference to be attempted by the Authority and Bryan to overcome it and become WWE WHC. The main question I have is what form does the interference take and how is it turned aside (I would expect some form of attempted interference to be turned away by some sort of shocker to build the next feud coming out of Mania.
Had it been Punk/HHH, I could have seen it somehow being the end of the Authority angle. Now that it's not, I'm pretty sure the Authority survives and there is some kind of continuation. The only thing I'm noping does not happen is the Big Show stopping the Authority from interfering. That would be.....meh. I would actually prefer Kane turning on the Authority and returning to being Bryan's buddy, who has been cooperating with him all along. And I think that would suck. But at least we wouldn't have the Big Show be a part of it anymore.
