Mark Henry (who gave his fake retirement speech during the same time Big E started to pop like crazy in NXT), is retiring sooner rather than later thus leaving a void for a big black beast of the company; BAM in comes Big E Langston, people are souring on Langston now so what do they do next? My guess is this they split up PTP so they can see how Titus get's buzzed about.. Between Big E & Titus they're going to see who get's the better reception and put them right in the spotlight for nothing more than their freak of nature bodies.

That's a bit cynical. Doesn't mean it isn't true (I don't think it is), but it's definitely cynical.

As to the contention that people are souring on Big E, I guess I'm just not getting that. He gets a pretty good reaction for a midcard/upper midcard guy who's on the doorstep of the main event scene.

Anyone who thinks Big E's race isn't affecting his propelling one bit is kidding themselves entirely and are just trying to put on a fake personality to overshadow the real truth just so they can say they are a good person and don't look at race as a thing.. this is business not the life of Average Joe Smith..
Edit: Sure he's a genetic freak but if he was white, he'd be just another Ryback and get lost in the shuffle but he's not.. so deal with the real truth of business, there are real things as a quota to market for the most profit out of your audience.

What I am saying is that WWE didn't just put him out there because he's a big black dude to fill in for the absence of Mark Henry. He has legitimate skills that were noticed and led to him, first, becoming NXT champion, and secondly, IC champion.. and some time down the road he will be WWEWHC. Not because he is black but because he has the skills to carry those belts. Sure there are business quotas are far as how many people of each certain race to employ or whatever. But that doesn't mean that any of them need to be successful, hold a belt, get regular TV time or anything else... only be employed. He worked for what he's gotten and to say he's there because he needs to fill a void being left by Mark Henry's impending retirement, based on the color of his skin, is insulting to say the least.

Lol no dude he's definitely clean, he's been doing hardcore workouts since summer of freshman year in high school.
Trust me this is coming from a Big E hater, that is one legit thing about him. If he was using steroids we would've noticed when he had his injuries he had back in '05, he would've rehabbed a LOT faster than he did which was actually somewhat on the slow side.

Also I have to bring up the fact that 4 years in and he hasn't developed nearly any submission ability.

You can use the word insulting with me all you want but it doesn't phase me because it's the truth. Sorry to break it to ya, but if Big E was white we'd have two Rybacks and both suck on the mic and in ring soooo it'd be a 50/50 chance if he had a job or not since there should only be one white knobhead annoying the piss out of people.

I can accept that you don't like him or you don't see skills. Big E is a power wrestler... a monster... he doesn't have a submission because he doesn't need it. How many power wrestlers besides Lesnar actually have submission moves? Big Show? no. Roman Reigns? no. Kane? no.... There have been many big men that never had submission skills... that's irrelevant. He's more agile than most men his size... the dive/spear to the outside of the ring is something most men his size don't do. His belly to belly suplexes are impressive, big meathook clothesline, sidewalk slam, regular suplexes, body slams, full body press and throw, gut checks in the corner, the big splash... and of course the Big Ending! I just named 10 moves that he does... and there's a few more I'm sure. Oh.. and everybody uses the ropes for momentum lol.... that's part of the reason they are there and have the give to them that they do.... so people can bounce off of them to gain momentum.

In closing, I respect your opinion but I wholeheartedly disagree... so we'll just agree to disagree and move on.
