Why Slater is missing

As you may have noticed, Heath Slater has been away from WWE TV and live events for several weeks now while Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal keep the 3MB gimmick going. Word now is that Slater has been given time off to deal with some personal issues and there's no word on when he will be back.

With Heath Slater out of action as we noted earlier, Ricardo Rodriguez revealed on Twitter that he will be teaming with Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal at this week's WWE holiday live events. Ricardo tweeted:

"You guys, just got word I'll be teaming with 3MB on the XMas loop! I got this sweet arm drag I learned! See you soon MSG! #eeeeeee"

Hope all is well with BAWS Slater.

I think that was just for over the Christmas tour. I saw on Twitter where they played it up as 3MB recording a Christmas album and they needed RR for doing Feliz Navidad or something like that. Not sure on if RR will be with them on TV.

Yeah, he's on a short-term deal. He said in an interview with Sam Roberts last month to "expect him back soon, but not too soon." Would be awesome if he made a surprise appearance in the Rumble.

Agreed, that'd be pretty interesting. Always like having him around for those random matches. As long as it doesn't lead to main gold, I'm fine.
