Tenay: Hello once again, Mike Tenay and Don West, ringside here for your 60 Minute Adrenaline Rush! This is TNA iMPACT! Don, let me just say that tonight’s main event is undoubtedly the biggest main event we will ever see on Spike TV. Listen to this it will be AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe…vs. Christian Cage! Not only that, it’s to face the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle for the title next week right here on iMPACT!
West: That is huge Mike, that will decide who will walk into Slammiversary as Champion! Mike, Jeff Jarrett has been backstage all day. I had a talk with him and he kept mentioning his connections with a former TNA mainstay, Jarrett wouldn’t crack. He told me I had to wait like everyone else. Mike this guy has something, or someone up his sleeve I’ll tell you what.
Tenay: Well Don, we could get the answer right here tonight! Jeff Jarrett is here, maybe we’ll see him later tonight!
Team 3D’s music hits as the NWA Tag Team Champions Brother Ray and Brother Devon come out of the ramp carrying a table. They enter the ring.
Ray: Okay, now, the NWA World Tag Team Champions…Team 3D have a little match coming up at TNA’s 5 year Anniversary PPV Slammiversary with AMW. This match will be contested under the rules of a tables match. Since they think we are the crappiest wrestlers they’ve ever seen, we want to give them a little piece of Philly, and show them how deadly we can be in our type of match! A tables match!
Devon: OOOHHH MYYY BROTHAAA, TESTIFYYY!!!!
Ray: Bring out our next victims!
TNA iMPACT!’s theme as Brent Albright and Adam Pierce come down the ramp. These two men are not part of the TNA roster. They stand toe to toe with Team 3D.
Tenay: Well Don, these guys look like “blue chippers†sort to speak.
West: They look like promising young athletes, but they don’t stand a chance against 3D!
Tables Match
Team 3D vs. Brent Albright and Adam Pierce
Team 3D shakes hands with both men, then start beating the hell out of them. Ray swings at Pierce, he ducks and shoots left at his face. Ray gets nailed a couple times, then belly to belly’s him. Albright starts forearming Devon, until Ray nails the Bubba Bomb on Albright from behind. Devon goes and sets up a table. Pierce comes up from behind him and nails a reverse DDT, he then drop kicks Ray. He pulls up Devon and puts him on the table. He brings Albright to his senses and Brent holds down while Adam goes up top. Ray gets up and runs over to Pierce making him slip and drop hard on the turnbuckle. Ray goes up top and attempts a supersplex. He has Pierce in position, but Albright goes to Ray and has him set up for a powerbomb. Devon roles off the table. Albright pulls Ray down for the powerbomb hurling Adam Pierce off the turnbuckle by a superplex from Ray.
Tenay: TOWER OF DOOM!!!! Don, what a move, but it just might have cost Pierce and Albright the match!
Pierce screams in pain along with Ray, Albright goes after Devon but Devon hits an Atomic Drop onto Albright and clotheslines him. He picks up Pierce and drops him on the top rope hanging him, he bounces off the ropes and big boots him out of the ring.. Ray gets up stumbling around. The get in position and when Albright gets up Ray and Devon nail the 3D through the table.
WINNER: Team 3D
West: That was sure a message sent to AMW if I ever seen one! Mike, but you have to hand it to Brent and Adam, they sure showed what they had in this match, anyone else probably couldn’t last 3 minutes in there with Team 3D!
AMW is seen backstage watching Team 3D celebrate in the ring, they look worried. James Storm starts cracking up, and Harris and Kim start laughing as well.
BACKSTAGE:
Shane Douglas walks into Rhino and Raven’s locker room.
Douglas: Listen, I just thought I should come in here before I have to go out there for my match, I know I kind of phrased it wrong last week, but truly you guys are some of the best friends a guy like me could have. I don’t look down on you in anyway, shape, or form.
Rhino: What’s the real reason you come here tonight Shane? Be honest this time, we won’t hurt you…
Raven: Much.
Douglas: Well guys, I have this huge plan to finally take down Sting and his guys. It’s a sure fire plan that will finally cement us Extremists better than the WCW losers.
Rhino: Yea, so what, we get 5 minutes of glory if we win? Thanks, but no thanks, it’s just not worth it…
Douglas: Fine, but without DDP, Steiner and Sting around, you guys could sure get NWA title shots faster…but if you guys…
Raven: Hold on, eh War Machine, without those hacks around, we would get more recognized. We could become number one contenders, right? I haven’t had the strap since 2 yrs. Ago, same with you. Shane, okay, one more time, what’s the plan?
The camera zooms out closing their locker room door.
COMMERCIAL
Jay Lethal’s music hits as Lethal comes down the ramp.
West: Mike, you can sure say, ever since he has been appearing on iMPACT!, this guy has been red hot! Getting a victory over Hoyt last week, now he has the opportunity to knock off the number one contender for the X Division Championship!
Senshi’s music hits as Senshi comes down the ramp with Kevin Nash.
Jay Lethal vs. Senshi w/ Kevin Nash
Senshi and Lethal lock up. Lethal bends his arm behind him, and monkey flips him on his back. He does a backflip kneeing Senshi in the face. He pins him 1..2..kickout! Nash starts cheering for Senshi. Lethal picks him up and throws him into the corner. Senshi counters and throws Lethal in the corner. Senshi runs back and forth drop kicking Lethal in the corner. Lethal stumbles and Senshi goes for the pin 1..2..kickout! Senshi delivers strong back kicks to Lethal’s spine. He does an insuguri to the back of Lethal’s head. He pins him 1..2..kickout! Senshi picks him up and does a standing head scissors into another pin, 1…2..kickout! Senshi can’t believe it. He goes over to the ropes and starts consulting Nash. Nash comes on the apron, the ref tries to get him off. Daniels runs in the ring and nails the Angel’s Wings on Senshi and runs out of the ring. Lethal goes for the pin 1..2..kickout! Lethal jumps up and puts Senshi in a modified arm bar. Senshi is still light headed from the Angel’s Wings but manages to get to the ropes. Lethal pulls him into the ring. He goes up top and nails a moonsault right onto Senshi. He pins him 1..2..kickout! Nash comes back on the apron. The ref is distracted and tries to pull him off. Daniels runs back into the ring, goes up top and nails the BME on Senshi. Lethal pulls the ref away from Nash and covers Senshi 1…2…kickout!
WINNER: Jay Lethal
West: He kind of has a little winning streak going on here doesn’t he Mike?
Tenay: Yea Don, but the major story here is that Daniels continues the mind games on both Senshi and Nash. It will all culminate in less than 2 weeks at Slammiversary!
BACKSTAGE:
LAX is partying it up in the parking lot. 3LK is not there, they are preparing for their match. They are walking in 3LK’s parking lot territory. Petey Williams approaches them.
Homicide: Hey essay loco, look what little white boy wants some more of LAX!
Williams: Listen you illegal sons of bitches, last week you put my best friend Eric Young on the shelf! He has 4 broken and fractured ribs thanks to you! It’s time for some payback! Petey starts clubbing Homicide, but Hernandez pulls him off and throws him into some garbage cans. They go over to him and start stomping the hell out of Petey.
Homicide: You are going to see your buddy Eric real soon! Right next to him in the hospital!
Homicide picks him and Border Tosses him into some trash full of broken glass bottles and other crap.
Hernandez: Now Eric will have a friend in the emergency room, ha!

Jim Cornette’s music hits as Jim and Lance Hoyt stand in the ring.
Cornette: Alright, now there has been some buzz about things around here, and I am going to get to the bottom of things! First of all, LAX wants to play rough! They are going to get their chance! Slammiversary is coming up and we are going to have a little rematch from Sacrifice. 3LK vs. LAX, this time it will be a parking lot brawl! A full circle of automobiles will encase these 2 teams, and only one team will emerge victorious! Next on the list is a certain Mr. Monty Brown! You see Monty, I am going to do you a favor right now, because I am going to lift your suspension…for a limited time. Your suspension will be lifted at Slammiversary! The thing is, you are going to compete in a match, with my good fried right here Lance Hoyt! Now if you can beat him, your suspension will be lifted permanently, but if you lose, well…you are still suspended indefinitely! Now, moving on….
Shane Douglas’ music hits and Shane, Rhino, Raven, and the Naturals come out of the tunnel.
Douglas: Now, since you are talking about Slammiversary Jimbo, I have a little proposition for you. I went over it with Rhino and Raven, and since they aren’t really going to risk anything in this plan, they agreed to it. It involves a match. Do you want to hear it?
Cornette: Okay, hit me Shane…
Douglas: It’s going to be a match, Sting vs. Myself the Franchise Shane Douglas!
Cornette: I don’t see why not, the match is on! Case closed, now go away I got a lot more things to deal with.
Douglas: I am not finished, you see our fellow team members are involved with this also. As me and Sting will be fighting inside the ring, our teammates will align the outside! The only men capable of housing these two combustible elements in this ring are none other than the closest friends of the competitors. Therefore, I am proposing Sting vs. Shane Douglas, in a WCW vs. ECW Lumberjack Match!
Cornette: Well, Mr. Douglas, that is one crazy idea, but you got yourself a deal! I would love to see this go down right here tonight, but you guys lucked out, I gave Team WCW the night off.
Douglas: Well, then we will put the double beating on them next week!
Cornette and Hoyt leave the ring.
3LK’s music hits as Konnan, BG, and Truth hit the ring.
The Naturals w/ Shane Douglas, Rhino, Raven vs. BG James and Truth w/ Konnan
Chase Stevens and BG James start out the match. They lock up. BG nails Chase in the gut and does a headlock takedown. He puts him in a modified arm lock. Chase flips over and lands on his feet and shoots BG in the gut and drop kicks him. He starts stomping BG and drags him over and gets the tag to Andy Douglas. Chase Atomic Drops him and Andy clotheslines him double teaming him. Andy then shoots him across the ring and does a flying clothesline. Shane Douglas cheers them on. The crowd is expressing major heat on the Naturals. Andy picks up BG and jawbreakers him. He pins him 1..2..kickout! BG gets up and starts fighting him back with rights and lefts. He jumps and tags in Truth. Truth does a running spinning clothesline to Andy Douglas. Chase runs in and gets a back axe kick by Truth. Andy gets up and holds his stomach in pain. Truth bounces off the rope and nails the Scissor Kick on Douglas. Chase goes after Truth, but BG comes in and takes him over the top rope. Truth pins Douglas 1..2..3!
WINNER: 3LK
BG, Truth, and Konnan high tail it out of the iMPACT! zone right when Team ECW was rushing in.

Kurt Angle is waiting to watch the Number One Contender’s match from his locker room, when in comes Jeff Jarrett.
Jarrett: Mr. Champ, how are things going today?
Angle: Well, Jeff, this week I got off, but next week is a whole nother story. I have to defend my belt next week right here on iMPACT! Then 3 days later, I have to compete in King of the Mountain with AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Christian Cage, and some psycho you are bringing in!
Jarrett: Kurt, Kurt, Kurt. If you put all the pieces together it should be simple! If you examine the situation you will have your answer. By the end of the night, you will be one step closer to finding this out, but Kurt, when I decide to blab it out, you will be the first person to hear it!
Angle: Jeff, let’s get one thing straight, you are going to tell me right freakin’ now! If you aren’t then get the hell out of my locker room!
Jarrett: Okay, Kurt, I ain’t going to argue with ya, but stay tuned, that’s all I ask of you.
iMPACT! Zone:
Tenay: Well Don, Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle seem to be having their own personal problems surrounding the King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary, because the final participant is solely up to Jeff Jarrett to decide. Kurt needs to prepare mentally for his first King of the Mountain match, but how is he supposed to do so, when he has no idea who all of his opponents are?
West: You got me there Mike, you can’t prepare for something if you don’t know who it is!
AJ Styles’ music hits as the Phenomenal AJ Styles comes down the ramp.
Samoa Joe’s music hits as The Samoan Submission Machine comes to the ring.
Christian Cage’s music hits as Captain Charisma comes to the ring.
Number 1 Contender’s Match for the NWA Championship Next Week on iMPACT!
Christian Cage vs. AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe
AJ and Cage start early cornering Joe in the corner. Joe starts firing at both Cage and AJ with exchanging blows. They overpower him and start brutalizing him in the corner. Joe is on the second rope as Cage holds him. AJ does a running dropkick into Joe. Cage goes outside and starts choking Joe while AJ chops him in the skull over and over. AJ taunts the crowd as they boo him. Cage goes into the ring and him and AJ attempt a double suplex on Joe, but Joe blocks it. He maneuvers into a double DDT. He pins Cage 1…kickout! They he pins AJ 1…kickout! Joe picks up AJ and throws him against the ropes and scoop slams him. He pins him 1…2…Cage breaks the pin as Cage stomps Joe. AJ assists Cage and they pick him up. AJ holds him as Cage kicks him in the mid section. AJ nails a rib breaker on Joe. AJ taunts the crowd again, but Cage goes for the Unprettier on AJ, but AJ slips out and starts having words with Cage. Cage smiles then slaps AJ. AJ turns around holding his face and nails the Pele on Cage. He pins Cage 1…2…Joe breaks the pin this time.
Tenay: A little visa versa going on right here. Cage and AJ were looking fantastic in the early going but couldn’t hold up.
Joe picks up AJ and belly to bellies him. Cage comes from behind, but Joe backdrops him. He pins Cage 1..2..kickout! Joe throws Cage in the corner and does a combo of knife edge chops and axe kicks. Cage goes down and AJ clotheslines Joe. AJ stomps Joe and goes up top. Cage gets up and AJ goes for a cross body into a pin on Cage 1...2…Cage rolls over pin on AJ 1…2….AJ roles over pinning Cage 1…2…Joe breaks the pin. Joe grabs AJ’s head and throws him over the top rope. Without Joe knowing AJ hangs onto the rope on the apron. Joe german suplexes Cage, getting up AJ springboards off the apron into a Phenomenal Arm on Joe. He pins him 1…2…kickout! AJ sets Joe up for the Styles Clash. Joe flips him over. Cage goes behind Joe and nails the Unprettier. He pins him 1…2…Joe gets his foot on the rope. Cage can’t believe it. They show Angle in the locker room studying this incredible match. Cage grabs AJ and goes for the Unprettier, AJ slips out again and hurls Cage over the top rope onto the floor. AJ turns around and gets an insuguri by Joe. Joe waits, picks him up, sets him on the top, nails the Muscle Buster, and locks in the Clutch. AJ struggles, Joe puts more pressure on, Cage tries to crawl back into the ring, but AJ taps.
WINNER: Samoa Joe
West: Joe! Joe! Oh my God Mike, did you see that???
Tenay: YES! DON! WE DID SEE THAT! NWA World Championship, Angle vs. Joe, the rivalry reborn! Next week here on iMPACT!
Jeff Jarrett is seen sitting atop the stage at the top of a giant ladder. He pretends to lose his balance and laughs to himself. He points to his head signaling his mind games. The shot turns to Angle who is staring mindlessly at what Jeff is trying to tell him.
