I think the WWE will take action against Orton for unprofessional conduct.

I think Orton should at the very least... Be locked in a room for 48 hours... with JBL. That'll teach him.

^^^HAHAHA...Orton would never mess up again and if he did the second offense is being locked in a room with JBL and Hardcore Holly.

I say make him pay for the damages(which is around $30,000) and that's it.Him being a blueberry and destroying a hotel room has nothing to do with wrestling and all he should do is pay the 30 grand and then just move on.

This entire thing has been blown out of proportion, iml. Yehh, he trashed a room. I don't condone that, but it happened. It was in his own time and didn't effect the WWE's image in any way. He pays damages and continues with his push. End of.

By the way, great prediction CenaMark54 ... after it was announced on WWE.com. Your sarcasm is noted lol

^I agree, it's a little more understandable (to take large action) if there were a shit-load of media around and WWE got a lot of negative press, but there was really nothing big going on about this. The problem really isn't that he did something, but whether or not he can make up for it. I'm sure he'll have no problem paying the damages and a little extra for the trouble.

The things is, its not so much that he destroyed a hotel room. Even though, you know that was a pretty dumb thing to do.

The fact is that shit like this continues to occur with his name attatched onto it. How many times has Orton been nailed for doing stupid shit? Personally, if I was running said business he would've been fired by now.

As to Great One. NOBODY is irreplacable. Nobody. Orton is not even a huge star yet. Yeah sure, he's supposed to be one of the top heels on Raw. Whatever. But the fact is the show doesn't revolve around him. It would be very easy to take him off TV and replace him with someone else. Its all about the push.

I don't think replacing someone like Orton would be as easy as you say.

Plenty of people get pushed and most fail.

Orton was slowly depushed from 2005-2006. He was given a slight push heading into Mania 22 and was depushed for most of 2006 and 2007. Yet he is still over with the fans and can still be inserted into main events without any credible wins or buildup.

The fact of the matter is it would take the WWE years to build someone up to Orton's level were he can get a consistent reaction without being constantly pushed.

The WWE has invested tons of money and many years into making Orton and its going to take more than a hotel thrashing for them to cut their loses.

^^ But once again, why was he depushed? Because Orton kept doing stupid stuff over and over again, there's no one else to blame for Orton being depushed except for Orton himself. I just find it dumb how you can get depushed for complaining about not beng on a show, or depushed because you were making out with your girlfriend in Iraq. While Orton does things that are much worse and he always seems to get nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

He gets suspended, but when he comes back he always returns to take part in a high-profile feud, be it with Angle, Taker etc.

And lost in all this is the fact that.... He's still overrated. He's not good on the mic and teaming him up with Edge made that clear to a lot of people. Edge was able to draw heat from the fans and Orton... He got nothing. And then there's his in-ring work which excluding gimmick matches (Hell in the Cell and the Hardcore match against Foley) is not that great either.

^^I think Orton is among the best in the ring but I do realize that people like different styles. I think he has put on great matches with Benoit, Rey, Taker, HHH, etc. Orton is able to make a beating look legit and make his opponents offense look better than it is. His selling is top notch, which is why his matches with great wrestlers are always top notch.

Yes, I will give him his selling. He does do that relatively well.

But even though myself and sp hate the guy and others love him, you gotta look at this objectively.

Orton has been nothing but problems since he started with the E. At some point it becomes too much and something seriously needs to be done. Its time now. Orton has been given chance after chance, and he has repeatedly blown them off.

Its too much now. Its like he thinks he can get away with pulling early 90's HBK shit without being Micheals.

Micheals got away with it because he was the champ. Orton should know better and realise that his postion is a bit more precarious than HBK's back then.

Yeah, that's bullshit, but I guess your opinion. Some people just can't be replaced, I dislike that theory and the names I'm gonna throw at you probably already know they're coming. Hogan? Austin? Rock? Cena?

All you lot saying fire Orton are probally the same people who feel the WWE needs more talent or needs to establish more talent soon. Lets face it, Vince has been used to big ego wrestlers for over 20 years and isn't going to fire a future money maker over a few incidents. Incidents you may consider serious, but in the world of professional wrestling are no worse than has happened many times. Orton sells and in the WWE world thats all that matters.

Yeah, saw all of those coming.

Every single last one of them as a loss could've been easily dealt with at the time.

No matter how popular one wrestler is they do not make the company. If that had've been the case, then the loss of said wrestlers should've killed the WWE many times over.

Hogan jumped. He found out he wasn't the only thing keeping WWE afloat.

Austin got injured, walked out and fired. The WWE kept plugging on just fine without him.

Rocky while hugely popular was barely there for a real extended period of time. He was replaced pretty quickly.

Cena? Cena can be replaced too.

And now, if losing 3 out of 4 of these wrestlers is tolerable to the WWE, then surely losing Randy Orton would hardly even make a dent because no matter how much you people love his ass, he's no Hogan, Austin, or Rock.

Needs more talent? Naah. They have more than enough. Do they need to put some effort into making more of the under carders look stronger. Yeah they do.

Yes, you are correct that Vince has used troublemakers throughout his time. But the one thing you'll notice and I mentioned it above is that they were all already big draws. Otherwise they got fired. Vince let HBK get away with all kinds of shit after his title wins, but don't forget he fired his ass before he was a main eventer.

Orton does not yet have the status to be able to pull shit. He needs to keep his nose clean, and stay the fuck out of trouble.

Austin/Rock have never yet been replaced and never will. Want proof? Read what 90% of this forum posts about the current era sucking and the Attitude Era being the best, etc. etc. living proof. Cena is basically there to try to replace Rock, Austin, AND Hogan all in one and look at how well that's turning out /sarcasm. I agree, Orton isn't as big as those guys and MAY never be, but he could, just like Edge I think he has the potential to be the best in the future. One GREAT point CenaMark54 brought up is how he still has a solid fan base and good reactions over the basis of 3 years of being down pushed, etc. I personally don't really care to an extent what happens outside the business as long as he still performs. Being penalized for simply trasing a hotel room is bullshit, although I understand how it was part of a chain of problems which he had done a good job of stalling for awhile. Orton may have got caught smoking weed at a live event backstage and harassing backstage women and trashing hotel rooms, but one thing he never did was get into a shoot fight with another WWE wrestler which is the worst thing that can happen. And right now that person is a 2 time WHC, so yeah, Orton didn't really do anything that bad it's just little shit which now had a big period of consistency in between (which again probably had something to do with his anger management problems). Oh one, MAIN thing I would like to point out to all the morons saying Orton 'ruined his chances' of winning at Backlash. Think for a second, if he doesn't win, he obviously knew he wasn't going to win at Backlash, thus didn't really give a damn. Got to think outside the box, right now I sadly probably don't think he'll win at Backlash and he'll prob be the one pinned/tapped out (hopefully by HBK).
