AwfulAnnouncing.com published an article about a tweet that former WWE announcer Matt Striker posted after The Boston Red Sox won the World Series. The tweet, which has since been deleted, read: “Ill get sh*t for this but if there’s a tragedy at this Sunday’s NY Marathon then that means the Knicks will be NBA champs.”

I couldn't agree more. He might be full of shit but this is far from the first time a city filled with tragedy forgot about it long enough to win a championship.
