If CR7 left Real I see him filling in there tbh, no idea what's happening with him though. Also didn't Bale sign a new contract a few weeks ago? I know they're worthless practically but it'd be odd to sign it then let him go.

I can see him replacing Ronaldo yes, but I don't think Bale wants to live abroad. That was mentioned in his interview with Geoff Shreeves. And I am not sure about the contract, but it wouldn't be weird - the longer he has left on it, the more money Tottenham get for him, and Levy is the biggest money-grabbing asshole I know.

Never trust Rodrigo with 'facts' on football, worse than me :urm:

City offered 160m and Santos declined? And I'm Messi :pity2:

Nah, I didn't even watch it live. I caught the highlights. I thought it was kinda' ironic though after you were saying how overrated Hooper was :isee:.

He still is lol. He only scored cause Williams decided to be a complete blueberry.

see the hbis fans? We were outsinging celtic at 3-0 down lol.

Good fans. Not surprising since Celtic simply walk through Scottish football now, where as Hibs were probably just happy to be there. How was Leigh Griffiths today though?

This.

He has single-handedly destroyed some national teams as well, R Albin can testify to that when Brazil played Scotland.

How can somebody not get hyped up for this piece of ass?

Single-handedly destroying Scotland is the equivalent of beating Zack Ryder on RAW.

To be fair he played well against Germany a while back.

I just think when he joins La Liga and all of a sudden the defenders are a lot more intelligent, it's going to take him by surprise. What will decide his fate is his ability to adapt to La Liga, if he can then the sky is the limit. I think he's going to struggle in his 1st season at Barca though.

La Liga has defences which sit back and give you time on the ball don't they? I swear down he'll get a lot more time on the ball than you're thinking.

Most do, especially against Barca anyway. He will have a LOT of the ball with Barcelona, because nobody presses them high, and rightfully so.

I meant it as rhetorical but yeah ain't no one getting too tight on him in La Liga, teams playing high tempo pressing against them in Europe will be interesting though.

Oh, didn't get the rhetorical stuff, because La Liga probably has the most teams that actually press high now. Valencia, Bilbao, Sociedad, and a few others are renowned for it. They just don't against the team that are the best at it - Barcelona. I am so pumped to watch Neymar next year though as a neutral.
