Douglas won the US title in a First Blood Chain Match from General Rection on January 14th 2001 at Sin. He lost the title to Rick Steiner on the February 5th Nitro.

Sid Vicious

Vicious won the US title from Chris Benoit on September 12th 1999 at Fall Brawl. He lost the title to Goldberg on October 24th 1999 at Halloween Havoc.

Both title reigns were very short so in the end I went with the guy that I prefer in Sid Vicious. Not a fan of Shane Douglas.

On the other hand I prefer Douglas out of the two so I went with him, and by the sounds of it he would have had the better matches out of the two.
