Simple vote for the movie you think is best. I tried to get the best quality trailers I could find if you think you know of a better trailer post it but really the trailers shouldn't be needed all that much.

If the movie you meant to list isn't the one I posted oops not much to do about it at this juncture.

All pairings were done at random.

Make sure to check out the Last Chance Survival.

Remember to post your thoughts on your choice. First round is open for 7 days.

Shit I didn't get my votes in, guess I might just spend the whole time saying "What No Blue Velvet?" "No Seven Samauri?", "No A Matter of Life and Death", "how about Wild Strawberries"? Anyhow on with the torney.

Onto Round Two.

You will still have 7 days from the date posted to vote.

All are done at random.

We had quite a few ties. In the event of ties in this round staff will then count as two votes. So if you really like a movie persuade someone to vote in your favor that hasn't voted yet.

Lol Seven Samurai, Kurosawa is the epitome of overrated, pandering to american cowboy fans with swords instead of guns, make for great movies?

I would expect nothing else from someone as narrow minded as you. Besides you have it the wrong way round Magnificent Seven is actually the remake not the other way round. They are very different films imo.

Is it narrow minded to expect a movie about samurai's to be accurate? Shit boi, Last Samurai was more authentic than anything Kurosawa did, maybe if the guy didn't try blatantly cater towards an American audience it would've been good movies, but he didn't keep it Japanese and it resulted into watered down movies as a result. I'm a sucker for all things Japanese and I don't like cheap airport type trinkiets of what tourists think of Japanese culture.

Chinese Kung Fu movies are the way to go....Kurosawa was a hack imo. Michael Bay of Japanese cinema.

There I said it.
