this is only a few weeks old, so I am sure no one other than Swole is missing.

It's not a release, it's a non renewal of contract, like Bryan. Only real release I'm aware of was Jimmy havoc for disciplinary reasons and ivelisse who they stopped booking. Believe Shanna they didn't re sign as well. But yeah, this isn't a release at all.

I have family who suffers from it and I know first-hand how it can be a pain. If this is the end of her career, it is a shame, but I wish her good health.

I wouldn't think that's a reason to retire though, I'd blame this more on AEW's bloated roster and no room for her. That is if she has been dealing with this for a while now.

I just know she's had to miss time bc of it already and her post to me reads like she doesn't see a future in wrestling at the moment, she doesn't mention it as the exact reason tho so who knows

She's mentioned multiple time it's a severe case n has missed at least one 6 month stint at one point due to it, yeah. You def have to think its a major factor at the very minimum I would say

Not a huge surprise. Hate to say it, but Swole's been outclassed in most aspects by women who arrived after her. Add that to her health issues and this seems like a good decision for both parties.

yeah pretty much this. add that AEW is very likely to sign Athena and other free agents

Report: AEW Doesn't Renew Expired Contracts Of Awesome Kong And Shanna

AEW's women's division has reportedly lost two of the competitors who were featured early in the company's history. The contracts for Awesome Kong and Shanna have reportedly expired, and AEW opted not to renew them.

Fightful: Big Swole’s contract was up at the end of November and had simply expired

Fightful continues to say that there was no heat on Swole backstage and their situation did not end on bad terms.
Fightful also add that her battle woth Chron’s disease sidelined her from the ring on multiple occasions in 2021, and that she wasn’t at any recent tapings.
