The Miz won the US title on the October 5th 2009 Raw from Kofi Kingston. He lost the title to Bret Hart in a No DQ, No countout match on the May 17th 2010 Raw. He won his 2nd US title from R-Truth on the May 24th 2010 Raw from R-Truth in a Fatal Four Way match also involving John Morrison and Zack Ryder. He lost the title to Daniel Bryan on September 19th 2010 at Night of Champions.

Nikita Koloff

Koloff won the vacant US title on August 17th 1986 in Charlotte, North Carolina by defeating Magnum T.A. in the final of a Best of Seven Series. He lost the title to Lex Luger on July 11th 1987 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

I went with the Miz because he did a lot as US champion. He made the belt mean something and helped add some prestige to the title.

This is easy. The Miz.

The way he possessed the belt, the promos, the feuds... It's what made him to what he is today and I'm glad he was given that push.

I went the other way and with Koloff because he was an underated wrestler and had some great feuds around the time he held it. Miz was a solid champ, but apart from the matches with Daniel Bryan I don't remember him doing a great deal with it.

This is a tough one, I remember at one point Miz was barely defending the US title as part of 'Showmiz' yet i can't help believe if it wasn't for those reigns he wouldn't be where he is now...I'll go for Miz.
