Gonna be a great match. I bet it's an Omega request.

In CMLL, TJP/Templario v. Titan/Volador and Mistico v. Ultimo Guerrero announced for Super Viernes.

Some decent cards coming up in the next few months/weeks.

It's crazy how often AEW just sharts all over AAA. I don't know if that's telling of how little crossover there actually is, or if AEW just doesn't give a shit. AAA has contorted so much of their product to fit AEW stories and shows, meanwhile AEW casually spoils their biggest matches with no attention paid. Funny thing is, AAA (or Konnan, most likely) are perfectly happy with this arrangement.
I mean tbf, AEW cares about the AAA belts about as much as AAA does :p

but yeah, the spoil thing (assuming you are talking about lucha bros winning due to a scheduled aew defence of their aaa titles) was lame a.f , I didn't like it either. But like you said, sounds like AAA are 100% happy with it.

No way Omega drops the belt imo
as a very casual aaa watcher, can you elaborate?

are you thinking Vikingo is not the guy? Or you more thinking that they'll keep the belt on kenny for as long as possible so they can keep booking him?

He def seems to watch it more than me but from how I see it...it feels like AAA doesn't see Vikingo as the guy that fans online do lol

I do see the argument that kenny being champ is best for business because hes an extra draw tho

I love Vikingo. He's a top guy in the making, and has amazing work.

The problem is that AAA don't see him as a top guy. They hardly see him as an upper midcard guy. He's considered too small to be given the ball, but too popular to let go.

As for Omega, he isn't a draw. I mean he is a draw, but he's not the type of draw that outdraws everyone else in the company. He's the champion to keep AAA popular in the US, a market they've been chomping at for ages. Omega is incredibly absentee, but he puts on great matches the once or thrice he's seen at all on AAA TV/PPV so it's kinda a trade off.

Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking just wasn't sure. Agreed with Omega too, like he's a draw for eyeballs in America which AAA has always wanted but I don't think the people in Mexico really care about him a whole lot by comparison

The latter. He's only had 1 match in AAA this year, which was TripleMania. He also never sends in promos which I find the most annoying. AAA is all about those over-the-top exaggerated promos. Why not just send one once a year or something? There was a PPV 2 weeks ago, actually haha.

Anyways, AAA has no TV anymore outside Mexico. There's no way, legally at least, to watch AAA outside of Mexico whether that be TV or PPV.

suppose thats a fair point, only been 4 PPVs it seems in 2021 and im guessing only two are "major" (honest question since ive only ever heard of reyes del rey and triplemania) ? cant comment on the promo thing, though if i was a fan id be annoyed with that too. i know he did a few PPVs in 2020 too but im going to guess obviously travel restrictions that year were mostly fucked. that ppv 2 weeks ago wasnt even talked about here , i wasnt even aware of it :pour
