Two parties is dumb af, too many issues

When Abraham Lincoln was elected there were 4 parties, but honestly it’s hard for third parties because most people align at least 60% with one of the majors.

So finding enough people to back a third is tricky.

Realistically libertarian is close, but they generally just run as republicans because of the odds of winning.

Like I can speak from experience that some Texans voted for Obama over Hillary in 2008 bc they thought he had less of a chance of winning the main election and they didn't care which republican made it

You don’t. You only have to register party for the primary so you don’t hijack the opposite elections like Chris said, but I can go to the general election as a Republican and vote Democrat down the entire ballot.

most ppl I America n its bc those 2 parties have money n influence . U can't possibly have 2 parties that represent all views. It's a terrible system that only helps those 2 parties n shits on actual democracy n unification. You're better off forcing multiple parties to work together and actually compromise

Or like in 2020, nothing would technically stop a republican from voting in the dem primary and picking Biden or Bernie based off who they thought would lose to Trump since Trump wasn't losing a primary. But if there's not an incumbent you wouldn't NOT vote in your own primary to saybotage another
