The way Gunner's been pushed, I see him winning this thing.

I don't watch much TNA managed to catch a bit of it before.. Would like AJ back in the title hunt however

I will go for Crimson, although I want Roode to win it. Quite like this idea, as it can create new feuds out of it, and really get future title contenders over, and make the title scene look more exciting. But they have to make it the main focus over the next few months, and give the talent time to get over, and have mostly long and exciting matches.

When did Roode become Bobby Roode? Does this mean he is going to reform Team Canada again?

Anyways, the way this is set up it's either Gunner or Crimsons time to put over old people and be booked like morons and placed in midcard limbo like everyone else who gets over in TNA.

To be fair I don't agree, because the signs are that they have big plans for the likes of Gunner and Crimson, and I see them as the two favourites, although having seen Crimson at Slammiversary, he is no way near ready for that kind of push. Anyway I have the same reservations as you, with this being TNA, but lets just see where it leads, it is a good idea on paper at least.

My thoughts on the Participants

“The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero
Good to see him back on TV but not a contender

Bobby Roode
I don't get this cause he is hurt. Will have a late start but could have soon good matches.

Samoa Joe
Needs to use this to get his career back on track but won't win.

Rob Van Dam
Also not winning but will put on a couple decent matches.

AJ Styles
Has to be the favorite, needs to get back to title contention.

Gunner
Pushing the guy to the moon, this will get him a lot of good matchups.

Bully Ray
My pick to win this if it isn't for a title shot. If it is for the title match at the biggest show of the year which I believe it is he has no shot. Great run as a heel right now though.

Crimson
Push will continue but won't headline BFG.

James Storm
Darkhorse if he drops the tag belts. Can prove he is worthy of singles competition.

Matt Morgan
A contender here, can get back to where he was 2 years ago.

Brother Devon
Filler that's it.

Scott Steiner
Read Above.

I didn't realise that this was a point competition but now I know.

Good to see Morgan leading the standings, he should get a title shot soon and has been looked over too many times. Samoa Joe and the Pope both on 0 points is a little disappointing, TNA could do so much more with them.

Sorry I haven't updated it for so long. I have now updated the original standings, plus the image as well.

The first three names on there I really like. This should be used to promote a lesser star to get them into the mainevent. Crimson, Gunner or Morgan winning would be fine by me.

I hate that Pope and Samoa Joe have zero points. They should be regular maineventers by now but they are now nobodies.

It is not a good top three IMO. Crimson who I suspected might win is too green to be given this spot, Gunner is the one I like the most out of the three, but it is too soon for him, which leaves Morgan as the only one who has been any kind of build for a main event push, and personally I am not the biggest fan of his neither. There is a sense with Morgan that he is the John Morrison of TNA, a guy who has flirted with the main event on and off for a while, but who the company have never really got behind, but there is a sense than it is now or never, but like Morrison [for different reasons] I don't think Morgan is ever going to have what it takes to main event.

It is sad the way people like AJ and Joe have been treated during the series. Maybe this would have been a good chance to give Bully Ray a title shot, but that doesn't seem to be on the cards either.

crimson will remain undefeated but wont win at the 4 way, expecting late surge for joe and to see him get the title shot as he has had some shock losses

I definitely can't see Devon in that match so I do think that there will be some changes to the top four. Shame seeing Samoa Joe on negative points now. Crimson winning it I like.

I have updated the first post. Robert Roode has moved into second place in the rankings. Interesting that Beer Money are both in the top three. Will they move into singles competition after this or will they remain as a team?
