Criticism of Sting!

I don't meant too have a dig at sting but here it goes..... do you agree that sting is a bit too over enthusiastic about the character he projects in wrestling? this is the reason probably why he never went too wwe because in his world he believes that they are not worthy of being associated with his character. He behaves like he is starring in a film when you see him on the microphone and even in his wrestling matches you can sense his over the top enthusiam. A bit deluded really. Dare i say as well that he might have even believed at one stage in his wcw days that he is bigger than company intself when really his character of sting is really not that legendary compared too stone cold steve austin, the rock or hulk hogan.

Your thoughts on stings enthusiam for wrestling?

The problem with the sting character is that it simply doesn't make sense. He wears make up why? It's changed and while it's been cool and sells lots of merchandise it never really made sense to me. The makeup comes off we see the man it's not like rey or kane where you didn't see them without the mask for years. His make up came off in almost every match so he's just a nut job with make up on. Take away the make up he's really not all that special outside of the big turns he made going from heel to face and vice versa, but that was really only because nobody expected them.

I just think he takes his character a bit too seriously past and present. if anything these days he's getting a lot more goofier.

First reason sting is never going to wwe is simple. he hates Vince for the way he buried a few of wcw main eventers when they first started, and it took them years to recover. IE Booker T When the Rock said to him who in the blue hell are you when Booker T debut. In that moment Sting himself has said he lost any interest in joining WWE ....
