I really have a hard time imagining what coulda been so bad that he basically refused to do it. Especially if Tony, Don and Jericho were all involved in the orchestrating of the storyline, I feel like it couldn't have been anything that would have been really detrimental to his character or career.

Decay I highly doubt they wanted him in that group. What he was just going to put Face Paint on and become dark all of sudden yeah I don't think that would of worked if true. It feels even more of a work when I think about it with Sammy wanting to be his own man and not want advice or help from Jericho.

There's a huge misunderstanding that everyone seems to want to perpetrate. If Sammy Guevara were to debut, it would be after No Surrender, after Black Taurus had already been established. It just means that in the next set of tapings, we'll see Taurus in positions and angles that Sammy turned down.
