Funny thing is, something I heard in a video I watch a few weeks ago...Glover wanted more money to do the second film. 
so, that's also kind of ironic.

"They offered me $150,000 to be in—it was a long screenplay. Like, a 200-something-page screenplay. I could tell they would split it into two movies. But Lea Thompson was making something like $650,000, and Tom Wilson was making something like $325,000 or $350,000, so it was less than half of what my fellow actors were making, coming back for similar-sized roles. And my agents knew it wasn’t fair. It wasn’t like I was saying I needed to make more money. I just basically, at that point in the negotiation, I just wanted to be fairly compensated "

I mean if Lea was making $650,000 and he was offered a quarter of that, he's only asking for fair compensation.
Oh I get that. I mean he deserves the pay. 100%
But for him to act like money should not = happiness, while also complaining about money is kind of funny.

I think you can say money shouldn't equal happiness and still want fair payment.
If he was asking for more than Lea, I'd agree. Hilarious.

Yeah this is basically it.
Like, I’m lowkey hoping they said “money ain’t gonna make you happy my guy.”
Even tho he deserves what he deserved and that was equal pay.
