....is what I think every time I watch Raw.

What are some of your favourite songs used in wrestling?

Gone are the days of decent rock music being used IMO.

Gotta love pretty much any song Trips has had over the years and Cult of Personality is currently the best. I miss them using Limp Bizcit.

"My Way" by Limp Bizkit, by far the best PPV theme for possibly the best PPV, WrestleMania X-Seven. Always will be my favorite.

I've seen Nickelback live twice, Metallica once. I can enjoy both kinds of music. Seriously dont get the hate.

Fair enough, but I personally can't stand his attempt at pop rock, guess there has to be some people that enjoy NB but most people I know can't stand them.

Raw Is War is probably the one everyone picks for best Raw theme, but for me nothing can top the theme from 2002 and onwards (until that Papa Roach song took over). Its my favourite wrestling show theme ever.

My favourite wrestler entrance theme, however, is a toss-up between Chris Jericho's WWE theme or Triple H's theme circa 2000. For some reason that theme was just so appropriate for Triple H whose sinister and ruthless heel run from that time has HHH pegged as my all-time favourite heel.

WWE needs more metal not crap like Flo Rida.

I remember back in the days where Saliva, Limp Bizkit, Marilyn Manson, Puddle of Mudd and Creed.

Needs more stuff like that.

Even Alter Bridge could make some good PPV songs as well, even Downstait...

I agree, however they did have a couple of great songs.

But the rest I mentioned is the stuff we desperately need, the hard rock.

The same can be said for wrestlers in general, I said it in another thread, less popstars more rockstars = win

They have enough generic rock themes as it is, IMO.

Personal faves from yrs gone by are the Attitude Era Raw theme (Thorn In Yr Eye), Stone Cold's Disturbed theme and Trips' 'Higher Brain Pattern' one.

I agree I like Metallica and the heavier metal songs. However, the federation has to keep up with the current trends. Unfortunately Metallica is an older band who is not well known by many of the younger generation.
