Sports, spoilers and chats

Without any trolling, getting mad or accusations of anything I'd just like to get the board's consensus on what they think about live sports talk in the chat.

Are you guys ok with it? Can you avoid the main chat until you've seen the latest game or would you prefer to have a separate chat for live sports updates?

Would you guys like an official rule about 24-hour spoilers for sports like there is currently for wrestling? Please give us your honest opinions.

Sports spoilers or any sports chat in the main chat has never bothered me at all so personally don't give a fuck really.

I like the separate sports chat just so we now have a safespace to chat baseball without being judged by Brits like @Dmac

Haven't seen anyone really complain about sports bein' spoiled, I think most of the folks that don't watch it live just want the highlights anyways at that point. Maybe if some folks speak here sayin' that they record some NFL games or such to watch after work or sumthin' then we could adjust to that. Either way, I don't mind a separate chat for it either especially if folks are discussin' other things in main, it could be a bit distractin'. That's about it from what I've seen.

This is a fair point and I think a good idea. I know one time I wasn’t watching a NASCAR race at the time because of a PPV. I just mentioned to the others who watch I wasn’t watching live so i kindly asked for no spoilers. So they made sure not to. But I guess if no one ask for no spoilers, then just talk about it. But have a chat that can be used to talk about whatever sport is going on. Just to use if you want to, or need to for the above reason.

Hell i don't think people should be forced to post in this chat about sports because of one person. So. There was no legitimacy about the complaint anyhow. No flaming..no trolling or nothing its simply facts.

Again, I'm not worrying about one person. I'm asking the whole forum what they would prefer we do about sports spoilers.

This sports chat isn't going anywhere either way. Just asking if we want to make sports talk spoiler free in the main chat for 24 hours.

The sports chat would be anything goes no matter what. If you go in there and get spoiled, on you at that point.

If the rule is never made, you don't have to go into the sports chat. It can exist and you don't have to worry about it.
