I think you're overanalysing it tbh. Chris is trying to look constructive after his exchange with Poyser and is using terminology he's unfamiliar with. Time will tell if he crumbles under the pressure. It sure is a stretch to notice the 'soft' off of one word.

Maybe so, this is what I wanted - I have a tendency of wanting to do very well and getting locked onto points, especially if I feel I haven't explained myself properly.

I definitely agree on Chris, I think it's more likely trying to look better after his Poyser interaction. It's almost an echo of Chris defending Barry with my thoughts from MTG game, although I think it'll be a good point to return to later in game in regards to knowing the soft off of 1 word

EV Town, Poyser lean town but unsure, you town.
Banez scum, Haza scum, uncomfortable with Rugrat.

Haza was originally my biggest scum read (yesterday) but Banez has overtaken him.

it wasn't just one word. More experienced players, does it really matter at this point if Barry's role is revealed? I see it as a 0 gain for town compared to simply waiting until day when there's a very slight chance (dwindling by the post) that scum hasn't noticed it. But if it really doesn't matter I'd love to just end this
