Nah. Even Cena has admitted he was wrong on that one. The group could have did something if booked right.

I think they could have done something if Cena turned and joined them but that group made up of those people were never going to keep me entertained long without the shock factor of their debut and GREAT booking afterwards. Literally only liked Slater/Barrett and I didn't see Slater as much at the time even. Tarver, Young, Skip, Otunga

Yeah Wade was the clear star of that group but they seemed like to Gabriel aswell. The rest were definitely fodder though.

I became a fan of Gabriel later on so I think he would have been a good utility guy in the group had they been used better as well.

The Corre had no chance by that point tbh no way they were gonna be better than Nexus and they were used even worse too

Silver lining guys....if the Nexus doesn’t bomb, we probably don’t get the Shield.

The Shield was essentially The Nexus.....just 100 times better

Nexus fucking sucked. I hated them, and 2010 was an awful year cos of them stinking up Raw for months. That storyline felt like it lasted forever.

When The Shield first debuted, I saw people compare them to Nexus and it made me rage. They basically nothing alike apart from the fact they attacked people in a group Shield > Nexus any day of the week.

I think if DB doesn’t get fired and Ryback doesn’t get injured Nexus would of ended up being much better. Slater was trash then his face was super punchable. Gabriel was pretty good. Barrett was a star. If Cena would have joined them it def would of helped but if they would have kept them away from Cena completely it would have been a much bigger success
