Happy to see that I wasn't the only one watching Dark Side of the Ring this Season. The Owen one was truly tragic and frustrating as we got to see how dumb and stupid WWE was for having Owen come from the sky with that little clip that looked like it couldn't hold a little kid let alone Owen in 1998.

I just finished watching season 2 finale, so fucking sad. That clip was ridiculous, I use a harness at work, that clip they used had no business being on a human being.

The only episode I didn’t care much for in the entire series was New Jack. I never liked that guy, I wasn’t as intensely in to that episode as the rest.

Gino Hernandez sounds like such a familiar name, but, he was the only guy they did an episode on that I wasn’t familiar with. I may have just read the name somewhere. Just by watching his episode, I wish I’d known about him when he was wrestling, he reminded me of Ric Flair. I love heels, I love when they can talk with a sharp tongue, he seemed like he was an awesome wrestler on every level.

Also a shout out to some Piper cameos.

Gino Hernandez was such a huge name in the Texas and Mid-South territory and was one of the supposed "Future of the Business" kind of guys. If he lived, chances are he could have been a NWA World Title contender for years.

Yeah they way he murdered is terrifying to say the least. Dino clearly knew the people who came into his home and chances are they are still alive. The Herb Abrams one was nuts too, that dude was high like crazy everyday and never had no off switch as he was running UWF.

I made a thread at WF years ago cuz he is on my list of wrestlers I’m a fan of , and, it hardly got love, either. I had him as my avatar for a while, too. Fuck the haters, Dino was a boss.

Season 3 better have a Jake Roberts entry. The man’s life was fucked up enough for an episode by far.

Dino wasn't much of a wrestler in the WWF unfortunately so he's always gonna be a footnote of the era, as shitty as that is.

I also have to say his episode was not one of the most interesting from my perspective, I do wish there were more stories and details about his dealings with the mob and what not but again... that's kinda impossible with the way the mob operates.

What do y'all think should be covered in season 3? LHR mentioned Jake and that would be great. I was thinking one about Heroes of Wrestling but it could also be covered with Jake.

I think there will be one eventually about Abdullah the Butcher.

We need one about Grand Masters of Wrestling

Even though it was only 9 years ago but the controversy surrounding the disbandment of Voodoo Murders in AJPW in 2011 would be a good one too.
