Does Alberto Del Rio Dislike 'The Miz' Outside WWE?

Alberto Del Rio Speaks on The Miz: "I Really Dislike That Guy"
Injured WWE star Alberto Del Rio appeared on 95.7 "The Game" this morning to promote his return to action at WWE house show events in California.

Del Rio spoke on a number of topics, including his injury and return to the ring against Sheamus at this weekend's events. When asked about how well he gets along with other wrestlers in the locker room, Del Rio had the following to say:

"To be honest, I don't like most of the guys," Del Rio chuckled. "I hate The Miz. This is not part of the show. I really dislike that guy. I've tried to punch him in the face several times, not in the ring, I mean outside the ring. He's like a little girl. He's always running away from me...

There's a big difference between The Miz and I," Del Rio said. "I'm a real athlete. He's just a loud, stupid little kid. He's one of those guys who was probably bullied when he was in school and that's the reason now that he's so loud and he wants to get attention from everybody."

That was a great read, lmao! Love what Del Rio said but I do think it's just a work, doubt he would reveal any of that and he made it sound unbelievable when he said that he has tried to punch him in the face several times. They seem to work fine on TV together and there's no tension.

But then again, the way he worded it seems to imply it's legit. Why else would he say "This is not part of the show"? The Rock doesn't say "This is not part of the show, I really want to kick Cena's ass, not in the ring, outside the ring." He seemed to make it very clear that this was a non-storylike thing. And they are both heels, so that should say something.

Possible feud between the two in the future? Maybe a face turn from The Miz? I can't wait for ADR to return to TV.

Why wouldn't Del Rio really hate Miz? Comparing their backgrounds in life and wrestling Del Rio should feel disrespected sharing a ring with someone like Miz.

I don't get how it would be a work considering this is on a Radio interview and most of them break kayfabe in interviews (unless your name is The Miz). The Miz can be a dick and I totally get where Del Rio is coming from, I mean who wouldn't want to punch a cocky bastard who shows off whenever they can. I love Del Rio even more now.

This is the guy who had a cry about being put in FCW and can't even get over as a heel if he should hate the Miz for its the fact that Miz who was a non wrestler pretty much and can get over.

As for not liking the rest of the roster much I would like to know who.

Del Rio is over so whoever thinks he's not over isn't very bright. Del Rio was over the minute he injured Rey Mysterio and was getting heat everywhere. Del Rio is legit even if he's a bit stale on the mic. I thought he was always better on the mic on Smackdown better than Raw. Anyway this seems legit to me because Del Rio doesn't take much nonsense and is very discipline. I don't think the punching story is true but I can easily Del Rio disliking annoying people like The Miz. Is it just me or is this the year where The Miz gets completely buried. He's sure getting heat everywhere this past week, what's next Maryse dumps him for Colin Delaney?

No, he's jealous as Miz has better mic skills than him. ADR needs Rodriguez to get over wheras Miz is capable of doing it on his own. If ADR wasn't Mexican, he'd be midcard at best imho. It's just because WWE want to get more support outside of the USA.

Miz does have mic skills without a doubt and has a longer title reign but Del Rio did win the Rumble. Both men won MITB but that Rumble win is huge. I highly disagree about needing Ricardo to get over as a heel. Del Rio with the cars then he has the cocky smile. Who can forget the wink he used to do. Del Rio didn't need him but you make some good points. I would take Del Rio over Miz right now, but the long haul will probably be The Miz. Del Rio said he would retire in like four years while The Miz is here for the long haul.

Had to address this so no one else has yet but no Del Rio is not over. Keep in mind he was on SD when he feuded with Rey so they could pipe in his reactions. On raw a lot of times he has come out to pin drop reactions

But anyways as for this not everybody is gonna like everyone in the back and Miz being the guy Del Rio singled out doesn't surprise me since I could see Miz acting like that. Just surprised he said it in public more than anything.

To me this comes off negative for Del Rio he's the one acting superior to others and being childish.
