Umm I think his question may of been which Non maineventer would be best suited to help build a struggling company?

Seems you are all quick to rubbish Chads idea of a thread just because he's in love with Cody Rhodes.

Homophobs.

I got what he was saying but I pointed out in my post why I think they'd be better off going the getting guys off the indy route and building their own guys in the process because they've done this before get the midcard guys from WWE for name value to help and it did nothing.

Well it seems know one else got it or if they did they decided to ignore it and take the "I'm gonna rubbish Chad 'cause it will make me look cool on the internet" route. Or maybe I'm just looking to far into it.

Moving on

Personally TNA has just started screening in New Zealand, so I have no idea what their product is like apart from the names on their roster, so I'm going to take a different approach and answer this question " Which current WWE superstar, who is no yet and established MEer, has the abilty to lead a new/struggling company forward".

To me Cody and Dolph are the logical choices, they tick all the boxes, look, in-ring and mic work. I'd stay a way from both Miz and R-truth, as both should be midcarders at best IMO. Kofi lacks the mic work and is a bit of a spot monkey rather than a story teller. Ryder needs the large exposure that the 'E gives him, and he isn't all that fantastic of worker. Alberto Del Rio probaly has the talent but obviously an American would be the safer option, Barrett falls into the same boat, although he would be a better bet that ABR.Christian yep and given his recent mainevent push where Orton made him look like a bitch it may be in his best interests to jump ship(again) if that's the best creative has to give.

Hey look at me finally getting involved in a thread here at Wrestlingsmarks, whooohooo.

Any answer but Cena is stupid.

So sign him, and after a year, if TNA STILL isn't competition for the WWE, close up shop.

Actually any answer that is Cena is stupid, since his question clearly states non main eventers.

Cena is the only guy in the WWE who's worth signing, so that's irrelevant. I answered the question with the warranted answer. TNA has signed so many WWE guys, big ones at that, and they haven't gotten ANYTHING out of it.

So if you had a multichoice question where your options where A, B, C or D would you answer E?

Fine, let's answer the question a different way: None of them, they're a waste of money.

Happy?

If I were Dixie Carter, I would concentrate more on developing my own stars rather than signing burn-outs and rejects from WWE. The former is something that has always worked well for them. The latter is not.

I agree with this completely. TNA shouldn't bother signing anyone other than Cena. They signed Rhyno, Raven, Christian, Angle, Hardy's and nothing has got them closer to WWE. All it has done it increased the wage costs. There is no point signing non maineventers from WWE, you aim to take the top guy or you focus on your talent.

TNA has paraded any big name from when wrstling was at its apex in popularity and still can't draw anybody. Maybe they should rethink the way they produce television an work from there.

The problem is signing Cena would only be short term answer, don't forget they signed Hogan who is the biggest name in wrestling history and it still didn't make a difference. Also TNA need to look to the future I would dread to think of Hogan and Sting still headlining their PPV's in three or four years time which is what Troy is saying as part of the Cena idea.

The advantage of signing lesser known names is that with the right booking, promotion and of course if they had the talent then they could be become stars and be unique to the TNA brand. It is hard to bring someone over from WWE who people already know and make them as big as they were then, it is easier to build someone from the ground up.
