it's a bit dumb that scum got a kill last night so someone could have been killed before the game even started. night 0 should've just been to decide the kingmaker really. anyway the 2 options are scum no killed or our bodyguard protected the kill. the latter would mean we have 2 more confirmed townies. if the bodyguard is only 1-shot (which is very possible in a game this small) then they should claim. I'm not worried about scum claiming it as they'd be risking a counterclaim and it is pretty likely town have a boduguard.

should go without saying though that don't snap execute the person before letting them claim. they can't fake kingmaker as they'll get countered and confirm themself as scum and the kingmaker dying isn't a huge deal as they'll just be replaced with another confirmed townie.

sky sucking up to the person who got the power immediately gave me bad vibes and also suggesting to use it on an inactive straight away is bad although rugrat also suggested that. if you want it to be used on an inactive you're pretty much giving up on the day phase from the off and it wouldn't give us any reads even if they flipped scum. people need to understand that we also need to be reading jeff off how he handles this day phase.

I'm curious why smark, tweet and jeff also find sky suspicious. I've only read from when day started so far btw.

also fwiw i googled mafia game discord server looking for a random quick chat game, found a discord link on yalls home site, and then haza (wcw champion shane mcmahon) told me this forum was 1 player short in signups. i play occasionally at another sports hub which goes through waves of inactivity.

Smark, Big Man, Alco would be on top of my list, a slight tier below that would be you, Rugrat, Ace, Sky and Barry. These aren't town reads or anything, just people who I know and who I trust to fulfill those criteria I mentioned. Rugrat can be a troll sometimes, Ace can just not appear at all, Sky and Barry have potential to be trigger happy and you sometimes get enraged and lose your composure.

For me it started with her saying she didn't remember Smark's meta (which I don't believe, she's played a lot of games with smark, and his activity is literally talked about every game), then back tracking on it. She also appeared to try to deflect suspicion off Rugrat iirc. Knowing her and how she acts around her scum team mates usually, good place to start.

reasonable. don't think I've ever gone full rogue as town (usage wise) but I can at least understand where that sentiment would come from, so fair enough.

When have I ever trolled a game I’m playing in? I’ve been playing five years and aside from one game a couple of years ago where I was a third party with the hardest win con I’ve ever seen - I’ve never done anything but play to my wincon.

I don’t mind this stuff now, as we have a full game and a few choices - but I don’t want this “Rugrat’s a troll” hanging over me at the business end of the game. It’s probs an easy thing for scum to parrot.

Also idk why Alco is top of your list, but you’re holding “not showing up” against Ace. Surely that’s to be held against both. Alco has disappeared enough from my experience and I’ve never played a game where Ace has fucked off.

Not gonna lie: not showing up has become a bit of a thing for me the past couple of years.

I mean the easiest course of action would be to have everybody say their top targets and have the kingmaker work from there.

My top 4 targets would probably be Sky, Rugrat, Alco, and Big Man

Sky has a tendency to show her hand as scum so putting some pressure on her could work.

Rugrat and Alco are more because they tend to be unreadable until late game.

Big Man is also a sneaky bastard and could be scum at any given time.

I see Jeff has been made king. That's an odd choice, imo.

From reading back, I feel GOOD about Smark and also about Rugrat.

I feel LESS GOOD about Sky, Jeff and Char Aznable (who I guess is someone I know, but eh).
Jeff and Char A. were fluff masters until very late in the Night 0 phase. So odd that Jeff was made king. Now hopefully he'll make a wise decision, I guess.
