Seeing all the "bad VAR decisions" made me realise: English refs are sabotaging the spread of VAR. They're taking decisions that they know to be wrong, not considering all the evidence, so that the fans will blame VAR rather than the referees. The endgame is that VAR is abandoned and refs are once again free to control the game in an arbitrary manner
