If they get sold can't think off top what state/city it would be in. As for their team they've messed up trying to depend on these older guys being their top scorers such Maggette last year and Jackson this year. They just need to go the total youth route with the team and do like you said and stock pile picks some kind of way.

Seattle's clamoring for a basketball team. Pittsburgh could be an option too, I suppose.

Seattle was my first thought when I read Ben's post. Nobody really wanted the Sonics to leave and they've been wanting a team ever since. Not to mention I constantly hear announcers talk up the city of Seattle and how great of an NBA city it was when they had the Sonics.

True about Seattle would be nice to see them get a team back since they lost the Thunder which I'm sure annoys people who live there seeing how good they've become. St. Louis could use a basketball team considering the Rams suck and need something to cheer them up since Albert left.

I think some of them have just made the Blazers their team since its only a 4 hour drive or so between Portland and Seattle but you know they want their own team.

Also directed at Ben. You said only guys worth a shit are Bogut and Jennings. I think you're forgetting Drew Gooden. Dude had a double double the past 3 games.

Pretty sure Seattle wants THEIR team. Honestly, could you imagine getting fucked over and not having a future that has Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka, etc? No team will ever replace what they got screwed out of, they would basically have to wait for years to get another team like that that could actually contend.

Obviously they would settle for any team, but again, they will never be able to replace what they had.

Seattle did not get screwed. They did not even want to pay for there NBA the city of Seattle they were pretty much done with them. Remember this was in 2005 when Seattle did not want to pay for their team and what was going on in 2005? Sean Alexanders MVP year, and the Seahawks superbowl run, they wanted to focus more on football and get a new stadium, Seattle screwed themselves if anything.

Gooden alright and guys like him will get you a 8th seed in the playoffs or barley making it, bottom line is the team needs a overhaul to be somewhat competitive and put people in the seats. Similar to Seattle though people here don't want to pay for a stadium, which is crazy because they could fund the thing with a sales tax increase that would cost most county residents something like a few dollars per year.

Trying to find where anybody said Seattle got screwed...Unless you mean Showtime in which he was referring to the fans of Seattle and not the city itself.

The fans of Seattle really did get screwed. Well overall they got screwed when Ray Allen left, but the team in OKC many Seattle fans I know became OKC Thunder fans. So overall they are still close to their hearts.

So now it sounds like Dwight Howard is backing off his trade demands after seeing how bad the Nets can be and how the Lakers and Mavs really couldn't add him and sign him to a max deal without trading away everyone else. The new plan would be for the Magic to re-sign Howard and then acquire Daron Williams for Jameer Nelson & other pieces.

Nets are beyond awful, getting Dwight would probably make them a playoff team, but they would also probably be one and done every year. I honestly dont see Nets trading away DWill though, they would rather keep him and try to get Dwight in FA and say that DWill, Lopez, the lottery pick, and him would be great together or something.

Lottery Pick ???
Brook Lopez
Dwight Howard

I'm not too sure if this will ever happen, but if it ever did on paper that's a playoff team contending for a NBA Championship.

Um, I'll take it.

If Jersey isn't gonna make any moves to build around Deron then they mine as well trade him before the offseason in which case Orlando should be pushing hard for him.
