This just in Fox wants CM Punk involved with Smackdown in some form of a role with Renee Young. Mind you, WWE has not spoken to CM Punk and this is purely a Fox thing who has paid upwards 4 Billion dollars for the rights to Smackdown word has it. And, no CM Punk has stated he will not ever wrestle again. Which is a bummer for me.

It's not commentary. It's more of like an post-show deal kinda like NFL Live or some shit so to speak.

I'd be cool with that too, idk how he's been at doing commentary for that MMA company but I always thought he was great at it whether in WWE or when he'd do it for the indys before, and it's more or less the same, just not as hard so he'd probably be good for a pre or post show

Here's the proof for proof sake. I'm shocked I caught this before anyone else. I wanted to see him in a ring again. It would have made me start watching the product again.

I'm thinking if WWE wants Punk to return, they could have him become an authority figure, as he can still talk, he'd give the shine to a lot of people, and the product could come out better for it.

He said in the same interview he will not be willing to do anything for WWE. But, ya know never say never in this business. But, based on CM Punk's words he hasn't spoken to WWE and this was purely a Fox thing. I doubt Punk will. When asked about if he would take on a road agent role or any of the like, he basically said No.

He puts his morals over business decisions. Don't waste his time. Now, @Grim this is not to say you are wrong or anything. But, I feel like Punk will be against working for the actual WWE again. Which is sad. WWE dropped the ball on Punk IMHO.

I don't think it'd be up to them. I think this would be more of a Triple H and Vince call in regards to CM Punk as they would have to sit down and iron out their differences.
