Also Halloween should easily win this, but Perfect Blue was on my list as well and it's a great fuckin' movie...I really might end up voting for it but I doubt it'll change the outcome either way.

I actually voted for Perfect Blue over Halloween. Halloween is an extremely good movie and an incredible classic, but Perfect Blue is a deep psychological horror movie about how toxic fandoms and how extreme fanboyism can get.

Like honestly I wanna vote for Halloween just bc it's Halloween and I love everything about it as a horror movie, but Perfect Blue was actually higher on my list when I sent it in so I feel like I'd be lying to myself to not vote for it.

It's pretty fucked up, not gonna lie. Satoshi Kon and Junji Ito's work are some of the most fucked up things ever. Lovecraft but Japanese flavor.

I'm pleased you guys have seen and liked Perfect Blue! Its a great film. A real gem.
