Cole isn't a submission wrestler so Gargano would be picking match he's sure Cole can't win.
That said, it would make sense if Cole picked the first fall and it was pins only so Gargano THEN said the second fall is submissions then.
TBH the only heel in the undisputed era is Bobby fish.
Yeah but it's not a shortcut. You pick what you're good at. That doesn't make you heelish.
That was a writer trying to justify the lapse in logic. And it makes no sense as I pointed out as he'd want it to be a pins only match.
You know what? If Johnny really wanted to be wolverine he should have just combed his hair out and shaved his beard into mutton chops.

If you're entire reasoning is let me pick something Cole can't possibly win, it's not exactly upstanding take all challengers good guys either. Point is, Cole as the heel, should have wanted a match he knew he had Gargano's number. Street Fight still favors Gargano as he knows he can win it, anyways.

Yes, but this match allows submissions. So he can still be tapped out defeating the point of picking his own stipulation.
