Only seen 3 of them and bits of the one of the later ones.

Seen the first one which is rubbish. The third one which I loved! And part 4 which is decent but not great.

Only seen the second Fantastic Beasts film which was a mess. Heard good things about the first one though.

I don't really rate things, but I can rank them pretty easily

1. Deathly Hallows Part 2
2. Prisoner of Azkaban (Favorite book)
3. Goblet of Fire
4. Deathly Hallows Pt. 1
5. Sorcerer's Stone
6. Half-Blood Prince
7. Order of the Phoenix
8. Chamber of Secrets (Second favorite book, most disappointing movie, but still pretty decent)
9. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (Still very enjoyable, but I think all the original series were better)

Haven't seen the second Fantastic Beasts movie

I finally watched this entire franchise about half a year ago.....my only thoughts is Dumbledore is the worse mentor ever and could've ended Valdemort early in this thing if he wasn't such a secret keeping vague fucker.

And did the books know Neville Longbottom was going to turn into a big guy or did the actors growth spurt make them change? Or are casting directors clairvoyant and know how puberty will work on a kid actor?

I don't remember how many books were out before the movies started airing tbh, but I think it was more his character in the books was more popular than Rowling planned so she wrote him into that spot.
