There's no problem using real names on Twitter, having reality TV shows that in half kayfabe, half out of it. Talking about their favorite stories to interviewers, but when you actually talking up a current angle, don't say shit like you wish you could go off script to beat their asses for real. That just takes you out of the play going on. People talk shit about kayfabe like we don't know it's dead, but The Rock doesn't stop every couple of minutes during Fast and Furious to remind the audience he doesn't actually jump that car over the other car and in real life he'd have killed Vin Diesel in the first 5 minutes.

Kofi Kingston openly said he wasn't in charactor on Raw when he wasndoing a heel promo.

Triple H has talked about their writers on TV.

Fuck sakes they tried this shit with CM Punk and his highly acclaimed pipe bomb and did it he same shit wit his wife and then let Paige cut the same promo.

And I watch pro wrestling like I watch action movies.....not for a second do I think the movie is real.

Kofi is a wink wink nudge nudge moment.

CM Punk and other worked shots still further a storyline. They served a purpose, but still had the tinge of "we can get you to believe this is real."

What Ronda did is none of that. She flat out said, "Fuck wrestling and anyone who watches it" with no story to further.

That explains your viewpoints, you fail to get invested in anything.

No what is embarrassing, is you are getting worked and not realizing it. This is the role she is playing in this feud. She is the arrogant heel, that is acting as if she is above wrestling. Did you forget about the tweets between her and Lynch? These three wrestlers want to be the final match at Wrestlemania. They're trying to generate as much interest in this match. Guess what? It's working! I was a skeptic at first, and thought WWE was doing the "We so Woke" agenda by having this the final match on Mania. However, these three wrestlers have busted their asses on camera, off camera, on the internet, etc, to earn that spot.

Wrestling should be treated like a play. You know it's not real, and you know none of the characters are real. However, it is the actor's job to get you invested. Unless the play is a fourth wall breaking comedy, (I.E. Much Ado About Nothing) then there is no reason for an actor to break character.

Not liking a particular worker's use of shoot promos, doesn't mean you're getting worked.

I actually like Ronda for the most part, but this doesn't work.

Being worked means you're buying it. I don't buy she legit thinks these things. It's just how WWE has decided to market her and turn her heel. I just don't care for it. I'm not turning on Ronda, though. I still think he's a decent worker and look forward to maybe see her main event the main show of the year. I would just prefer she not talk like Becky shouldn't be there also.
