I know what Bynum can do but it don't mean a damn thing if you can't stay healthy and L.A knows this which is why him and the word trade block have been best friends damn near his whole NBA career.
lol but Jimmy didn't let him go for Boozer, Baron, Kidd, JO, or Melo in that order when all of them were proven. I bet you if he can get Dwight he walks around the office, chest puffed out, like yeah I flipped him into that bitches

Odom to Dallas for a TPE and picks

LA just said fuck Stern and went straight for Dwight it seems as they pulled out the Hornets deal after he asked them to change the details again today when they brought back the picks, took on salary, and young talent.

If I was LA, I get Houston to hook it up without NOLA. Three franchises get talent, Stern gets it up the ass on tv?

PSYCH, what is LA doing? Trading Lamar for a TPE that isn't enough to acquire Hedo w/ makes zero sense.

They are an amnesty away from the full MLE now according to reports.

Long story short, they reworked the deal with what they were told, and still got it vetoed. Then they were told to try again and the nba didn't respond with a verdict after making more changes they wanted.

They have Bynum, Pau, the 8.9M TPE, a 5.5M TPE, and what could be the full MLE. Theoretically I guess they could cut Artest who came into camp overweight with a beer gut. Then they could use their full MLE to sign someone, like maybe Landry. Then they still have the two exceptions, Pau being wanted badly by Houston who kept giving up more, and picks. We will see I guess.

They did possibly fuck over Jersey though. If they can get a deal for Dwight, Dallas could cut Odom next year with only 2M of his cash guaranteed, and offer Deron the max

Sasha's TPE from last year is still good. It carried over into the new CBA

Free agent Jason Richardson has agreed to a four-year, $25 million contract to stay with the Orlando Magic, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Richardson, one of the top swingmen on the market, had wanted to remain with the Magic. Several teams had shown Richardson, who has averaged 18 points a game in his 10-year career.

The Magic were hoping that the re-signing of Richardson could help convince Dwight Howard to remain with Orlando. Howard has asked the Magic to trade him to the New Jersey Nets, Yahoo! Sports reported Saturday. Howard can become a free agent July 1.
Don't see how they thought that would help convince Howard obviously was gonna take something much more than just resigning a guy.

Hornets couldn't do the David West deal either according to Cox Sports Tv as they were told no moves would be made until Paul is resolved. That is why he signed with the Pacers because that could take a long time. Stern basically has the franchise in a holding pattern, which is silly as they only have 6 guys in camp, including Paul

So Stern tries to help the Hornets by having them keep Paul all the while it really screws them so they can't make any moves right now lol.

It's rumored that Stu Jackson is the one advising Stern on the personnel side in the trade that the Hornets are demanding. You know, the same Stu Jackson that ran the Vancouver Grizzlies into the ground.

This is coming off as petulant on Stern's part. There is no reason to block either one of the trades that have been agreed to. What is the NBA even trying to accomplish here? Are they trying to stick it to superstars and cost them more than $20 million by forcing them to sign with their preferred teams as free agents? Aside from the fact that that's wayyyyyy beyond the league's jurisdiction (allow me to call bullshit on the "basketball reasons" excuse Stern's throwing out), it's hurting the small market teams they claim to want to help. I don't understand this, and it's setting a dangerous precedent.

I mean I thought it was pretty just cause I know it pissed PSYCH off but in reality it was pretty stupid to block the trade when the trade actually would have helped N.O a good bit. No they wouldn't have a big star but after this year they wouldn't have one anyways since he has his mind made up that he is leaving.

Clippers pulled out after they had agreed to terms and Stern wanted Gordon as well as for them to take Okafor. He pulled the same whit on LAL/Houston ... Add this and we got a deal, oh you did that, well we need this and that too.

Donald Sterling of all owners said enough of this shit and put a bid in on Billups, while retaining all his talent, the Minny pick, and matching Jordan's offer sheet.

It would be nice though if they just took the time out and actually signed some more guys for camp, even d league guys because only 6 guys without Paul practicing is a waste of electricity

-

I wonder if LAL is getting back in on it as Mitch said he had big deals to get done. Maybe they revisit the talks which would make Stern look stupid, as if brining back the Vancouver GM doesn't already lol.

I did find this funny though now that Kobe calmed down after giving Lamar away and was told what Mitch has planned behind closed doors

"Mitch traded Kwame for Pau, so he has a license to do whatever the hell he wants"

Not this shit again. Term and Clippers broke off talks once again, and Stein says he has reengaged the Lakers. This Paul shit is just fucking up teams, and I hope they solve it soon

With that said, people need to understand the one change from the weekend deals and negotiation today. Jerry Buss was in the hospital last weekend, while Stern tried to rape his son and Mitch. Jerry got medically cleared to leave and went back to work today, which changes the game as he is the one who loves to play poker and can call Stern on his bullshit. There is no coincidence this gets out today that they are suddenly back in when the real boss and owner who made the franchise returned

Who knew blocking one trade would have this kind of trickle effect. At this rate I still expect Paul to be in N.O when the season starts.

Then on the Howard side apparently there is still a chance he stays in Orlando.
