Gene Kiniski won the NWA title from Lou Thesz on January 7th 1966 in St Louis, MO. He lost the title to Dory Funk Jr. on February 11th 1969 in Tampa, FL.

Kiniski was a good hard nosed NWA champion, well I think Storm had a ton of Potential, his reign was nothing.
