Late on this mainly because this weekend has been busy but meh. So why are they my artist of the week. Well mainly because I have been playing SVR 07 and they have some songs on their, and got to say they are pretty good. Looked more into them and I like them. It is a rock band pretty well known too here is a wikipedia excerpt on them.

Black Stone Cherry is an American rock band formed in 2001 in Edmonton, Kentucky. They are signed to Roadrunner Records. The band consists of Chris Robertson (lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitar), Ben Wells (rhythm and lead guitar, backing vocals), Jon Lawhon (bass guitar, backing vocals), and John Fred Young (drums, backing vocals). Black Stone Cherry has released two studio albums and three EPs, and has charted five singles on the U.S. Mainstream Rock Tracks charts.

Members in the band
Chris Robertson - lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitar, drums (live shows only)
Ben Wells - rhythm and lead guitar, sitar, backing vocals
Jon Lawhon - bass guitar, backing vocals
John Fred Young - drums, percussion, backing vocals, harmonica, piano

Songs I recommend to start listening : Lonely Train, Big City Lights, Blindman

Coming out with a new album on May 31st but who buys those. So like always

I hadn't heard of them before this thread so I listened to a couple of their songs. Not my type of music. He sounds very country and it is a strange country rock mix, a lot like Nickelback but without the pop songs.

Lonely Train was a WWE PPV theme a few years back.

Like this band though, saw them live when I saw Nickelback a couple of years ago (don't even ask). They supported them and were fairly decent. The three songs recommended in this thread are definitely the best from them.
