Concussions are far from the worst thing that could happen to DZ's career. Knee injuries would be worse. back injuries would be worse. Neck injuries would be worse.

Concussions are bad, we are still in the midst of finding out how bad, but short term especially things could be a lot worse for DZ. Now, will his brain be mush by the time he's 60? Probably, but that's life. Guys in WWE know what they are signing up for just like an NFL or NHL player who might experience concussions in their sports. The # of guys who suffer a concussion and recover relatively quickly and return to action is much greater than the # who miss an extended period of time or become repeatedly concussed. Even in the NFL you look at a guy like Wes Welker who had 2 concussions this season and has repeatedly had them throughout his career, and he only missed 4-5 weeks of action before returning today to play SD later.

Hart didn't retire because of a concussion, he retired because he suffered a stroke... Not the same... And yeah, some had to retire because of concussions, as I said and you quoted...
Dude, you're so wrong. He retired cause of the concussion he suffered due to the donkey kick to the head he received from Goldberg. The stroke came months after.

The general consensus is that he suffered the initial concussion and then suffered two to potentially three more after the initial botched kick during the match.. Because of the multiple concussions in such a short period of time he had a very rough case of PCS which forced him into retirement.

I thought the stroke happened like 9 years later haha :p
