Yves Jabouin vs. Mike Easton slated for UFC 174 in Vancouver

A bantamweight bout between Yves Jabouin (19-9 MMA, 4-3 UFC) and Mike Easton (13-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC) has joined this summer’s UFC 174 lineup.

Sportsnet‘s Joe Ferrero first reported the fight earlier today.

UFC 174 takes place June 14 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

It’s not clear where Jabouin vs. Easton will be placed on the lineup.

Jabouin, a Haitian-Canadian based out of Montreal’s Tristar Gym, was riding high after posting three consecutive UFC victories from 2011-2012. However, the WEC vet is 1-2 since then with knockout losses to Brad Pickett and Eddie Wineland.

The 34-year-old looks to right the ship against Easton, who’s in a must-win situation. The 30-year-old Alliance MMA member was on an eight-fight winning streak, which included victories in his first three UFC fights, before his current three-fight skid. The decision losses came to 135-pound notables Pickett, Raphael Assuncao and T.J. Dillashaw.

This is the second bout announced for UFC 174, which doesn’t yet have a headliner.
