Do a separate list for rock, perhaps? :eek:tunga:

Seems a little bit like cheating

this list is less concrete than my rap list, and more just as they come to mind

1.) Neil Young- solo/Buffalo Springfield/CSNY/+Crazyhorse.. any are acceptable. I just love Neil Young. He is always #1 on this list. The rest is more interchangeable
2.) The Beatles
3.) Zeppelin
4.) Rollling Stones
5.) Hendrix
6.) Queen
7.) Tom Petty
8.) Pink Floyd
9.) Bob Dylan
10.) Grateful Dead

Man.. as someone who loves so much of what Neil has done it's always tough for me to single out one thing to link someone to to try and capture his greatness for them.

Let's try this. This is a live album called 4 way street. It's not just Neil, it's Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, but the song I want you to listen to is Southern Man, which is a Young song.

Jump an an hour 15 minutes in

it's an extended version of the song, but it's worth listening to for the extended guitar session these guys bust out in the middle.

if you enjoy that song lmk, also that entire album is one of my absolute favorites; CSNY is fucking legend
