Your favorite beers

German beer is unquestionably my favorite, most-notably Warsteiner and Spaten Brau. Dunkels like these have a very particular taste and I put them above all other beer by a pretty wide margin. Hefeweissbiers are pretty good too.

The only other types of beer I drink regularly is Canada's Rickards Dark or Red. I prefer Dark though.

If I'm in the US and don't have many options, Corona is okay. Not a fan of Coors/Bud brands at all.

Guinness all the way but in Slovakia and in my city it's pretty difficult to get but we have this little store where they have it like once/twice a month.

Other than that, any Slovakian/Czech beer is great. Seriously guys, if you never tasted some of our beer, you didn't drink beer yet.

U.S. beer sucks ass. Pretty much all anyone drinks around here is Bud and Coors.

I went through a phase where I was pretty big on Bud Ice, but I was 19-20 and didn't know any better. I actually became a much bigger fan of beer once I started tasting European and Canadian brands. They have some Czech beer at the SAQ near my house, I may try it next.

What's unfortunate about some Americans is that they don't realize the world is bigger than the USA and they're satisfied with American beer simply because it's American. But we're getting ripped off worse than you can imagine.

I don't like beer. I've tried beer from all over the world cause we got the beer of the month thing and we get 8 beers from all over the world sent to our house monthly. Still never really found a type I've liked. Stella Artois isn't bad, and thats Belgium I think.

I prefer almost any other alcoholic drinks. Mikes Hard Lemonade and stuff is really good.

When you do so, just tell me what brand did you get. Czech/Slovakian beer might be great but there are some brands that absolutely suck ass. Fortunately there aren't many awful brands. Maybe like three or four.

Czechvar is the one I took a picture of. I'm sure different SAQ's carry different brands, but that's one sold near my house.

Czechvar? :lmao There is a great Czech beer called Budvar. Somebody just saw that and thought replacing Bud with Czech would sound "Czecher". Ah, these Americans.

Czechvar, I'm going to laugh at this for a long time.

Bud Ice was great out of the Keg. For some reason, homies would get blackout drunk when they drank Bud Ice out of the keg. The alcoholic content isn't any different, but for some reason, it made people black out. :shrugs:

AHHHHH now we're on to a topic I can REALLY get into.... I'm super into the US microbrew scene as there is a great distributor about 10 minutes from my house which is basically the size of a Walmart or Target.... I'm especially a fan of IPA's (single, double, triple, imperial, 60 minute, 90 minute, basically anything with LOTS of hops) and Stouts (oak barrel, chocolate, milk, oatmeal, etc...). My current top 5 beers are: 5. Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale 4. Left Hand XXX Milk Stout
3. Samuel Smith's Winter Welcome 2. Fegley's Brewworks Hop-so-lutely 1. New Holland Brewery Dragon's Milk

As for more popular beers.... Newcastle Brown Ale is terrific

Bud, Corona and Bulmers are all nice I think. On a night out I'd drink any one of those three.

There's also a German wehat beer called Erdinger that's really nice. I recommend people check that one out (or any other German wheat beer for that matter).

As a big fan of alcohol, this topic is close to my heart. Or rather my liver.

I'm not a big fan of Lagers, I feel they're just too gassy and just make you piss far too much for my liking. I like a pint of bitter at the pub to start an evening off smoothly before the Jaeger/Sambuca/Whatever induced madness. From the tap I like John Smith's, McEwan's is good also. There's a pub down where I live that has some more expensive craft beers and I have to say they're worth the extra couple of pounds.

From a bottle I enjoy Newcastle Brown Ale, most of the Brewdog range, Leffe, Hobgoblin but I have to say my favourite is Innis and Gunn's rum finish beer, a bit stronger at 7% ABV with hints of rum in the taste, so good.

Budweiser is always reliable. Guinness too.

I like beer.
